"Not as busy as some of the other popular brew pubs, was able to walk in and find a seat at the bar with no issue. I love the vibe here just because it’s not quite as crazy busy. The blackened halibut fish tacos are amazing and the beer selection is awesome. The Smok lager is one of my favourite beers! Bar staff are always friendly and efficient."
"Fun atmosphere with plenty of seating including rooftop in the summer. Large adult beverage selection. The seafood chowder was pretty good with chunks of salmon and halibut. I was not thoroughly impressed with the crab grilled cheese. Overall a good place to go with friends."
"Date night was a success! 10/10 recommend and can’t wait to come back. Started off with the pretzel, HIGHLY recommend. I got the Baja Steak Salad and hands down, the best seasoned, juiciest steak I’ve had here in Anchorage. My husband got the 49th State pizza that has the reindeer sausage and it was delicious. The perfect amount of cheese/dough/meat ratio. We also got blueberry pie and chocolate mousse pie, both delicious. Reeve was a great server, super on top of everything and gave some great recommendations on food. I can’t wait to come back again."
"World's best calamari. Batter made to perfection, with a spicy kick enhanced nicely by the jalapenos. King crab - the fattest parts of the legs were so juicy, with so much flavour that we didn't need the butter dip. We were offered an alternative of 1 lb crabs alone ($99) that wasn't on the menu, perfect for 2 while sharing other dishes. Parmesan halibut - a little dry, decent flavours. We were so full, we did not try the brews in house but the flavors looked so interesting we got some to go. Excellent service by Todd."
"We stopped in here for lunch on a Tuesday in September. The bar was quite full but the noise level was low. The service was quick and the meals were excellent. I had the Halibut fish & chips which I really liked. The fish was firmer than the normal Cod and had a light taste. The fries were hot with fluffy interior. My wife got the Crab Grilled Cheese and she claimed it was the best grilled cheese she ever ate! Our companions got the Mac & Cheese which he liked but said it could use more crab and his partner got the Firecracker shrimp which she said was good."
