"Have been to Firetap before and wasn't not impressed a couple years ago. However we went back and they either upped their cooks or changed the menu but our food was delicious this time around. Appetizer (not pictured) - soft pretzel with Beer Cheese. The pretzel was huge! Very good if you like soft pretzels. Cooked well. I had the Cajun Fettuccine Pasta. Absolutely delicious. Lots of flavor with chicken and sausage. My husband had the baked chicken burrito. Came with fries or you could sub fries for chowder, soup, or chili. Dessert- hot chocolate skillet cookie with ice cream. How could you go wrong? Lots of other options on the menu! Will definitely go back again."
"I had the club sandwich (whole) for $20.50 Very generous portions that are worth the money. Caesar salad for the side was delicious. Soft drinks for $3.75 each. Excellent service and delicious food. My only complaint is actually in the favor of the employee. Mainly the ones working for tips. A party of 6 or more gets the usual treatment and gets hit with a 20% gratuity charge for the order, even if you are actually splitting the bill. This is all understandable because I believe you should tip and there are, in my opinion, some really cheap people, to put it nicely, who don't tip. The problem is my bill was a little over $80 so the 20% was only $16 and some change. There is an option to add more tips but I feel like that's going too far when a tip was automatically added. And for the record I would have tipped the server $20-25 for a bill that high which clearly is more. Management should pay them more and let the customer choose the tip amount."
"My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, almost like fine dining. I was excited to see some gluten-free options labeled on the menu. The service was a bit on the slower end, but they were very understanding when I forgot to tell them I couldn't have bread and would need chips instead, which I really appreciated. The food wasn't as wonderful as we had hoped, but it also wasn't bad. My husband had a calzone he seemed to enjoy, however the white bean hummus plate was not what I expected for $18. The chips--an alternative to the bread--were straigh out of a chip bag from the grocery store and the cucumber on the plate tasted like it was about to go bad and was very wilty. The hummus itself was good and tasted homemade, but I would have expected more hummus and veggies and restaurant grade chips for that price. We may give it another try eventually and hope to have a better experience."
"Food was good, especially the pretzel appetizer. The pizza was good, but not fantastic. That could be me, though, I'm not a huge fan of the slightly burnt crust and the powdery flour on the bottom. I found it better to dust off the slices before eating. Most telling was the fact that the last piece of pizza stayed in the fridge for a few days, and still hasn't been eaten. My wife, however, likes the slightly burnt taste and really enjoyed her pizza. The atmosphere and service were excellent, though!"
"My experience here was amazing, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was really good we had the chicken pot pie and the Philly cheese pizza, both of which were a home run! The pot pie was perfect on a cold day just the thing to get your bones warmed back up, and the pizza was just delicious with a damn good beer to top everything off, also they have a very good selection of beer. Definitely try this place out you won’t regret it!"
