Texas Roadhouse 1154 North Muldoon Road, Anchorage, AK 99504

"Me and my husband were really excited to go to texas roadhouse, but was very disappointed once we left. We got seated and the waitress asked what we wanted to drink and order. We started off with some drinks and appetizers, but needed more time to look at the menu. The appetizers came out fairly quick which was nice, but the waitress totally forgot that we haven’t ordered our entrees so about 20 minutes have past before we had to tell her we still needed to order. No big deal, people forget things. I ordered the mushroom jack chicken sandwich and my husband ordered a chicken critter combo with a steak. The food comes out, and it’s just all wrong. The combo platter has 4 very small pieces of dry chicken and a very small and dry “6 oz sirloin” that was cooked more towards well done instead of medium rare. My husband also said that it tasted like a burger king burger patty and not even a steak from a steak house. Then I didn’t even get a sandwich. I got the mushroom jack chicken on a plate. I asked for them to take it back so I could get what I ordered and by the time I got my sandwich my husband was about done with his dinner. We ended up taking my meal to go so it was just a very disappointing experience overall."

"We were seated fairly quickly. We ordered an appetizer. The waitress put that order in and came back for our dinner order. We gave her our dinner order and got the appetizer. We finished the appetizer and waited 50 minutes for her to come tell us that she messed up our order and she could remove it from the bill if we wanted to leave or she could bring us more rolls to eat while we waited a little bit longer. We wanted our food, so we waited. The food was good, once it arrived. We ended up taking most of it home since we had the appetizer, several refills of our drinks, and the rolls."

"Got food to go, and either TR has skimmed down on portion size significantly, or a staff member was a little hungry and ate some and left me all the burnt pieces. For $18 you could get better elsewhere. At least the rolls were still good though."

"Call me crazy, but Texas Roadhouse has great ribs. I ordered them on a whim and have never looked back. They are fall off the bone, tender, saucy, smoky, and have a good pork flavor, every time. My compliments to the pit master! The baked potato is delicious too. And if you haven't tried the rolls, get on it. They are fluffy, sweet, and cinnamon butter is mana from heaven. Buen provecho!"

"I'm keeping this from 5 stars to be fair for the other location on Spenard for the same reason they both have. Other than that, everything else has been amazing. Friendly welcoming staff seated me to a booth as requested. Just having a leisure time to myself. Got myself a beautiful 14oz Prime Rib cooked to medium rare, now with delicious buttered corn and some fries on the side. Great place as always, and don't hesitate to do some solo dining here or bring friends and family."
