"We had a really good breakfast here and I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get chorizo and eggs. Service was good too."
"We came here for a work brunch and the cafe wasn’t too busy. It’s a hidden gem and a great spot to enjoy a nice cozy and quiet meal. My friend got the ranchero skilled and said it was the perfect amount of spicy. I ordered the vegetarian omelette with hash browns and whole wheat toast. The omelette was perfectly folded with cheddar cheese and the veggies grilled to perfection. The hash browns and toast was also amazing! Their service was fast and the staff extremely friendly. Both meals were delicious and incredibly rich in flavor! We ordered two coffees to go with our meals, which was also really good. Overall an absolutely fantastic experience and we will definitely come back"
"The breakfast was not great. Our hash browns were browned to super crunchy. The pancakes tasted good. Though the food was overpriced for what you get. If you are looking for a Mexican fusion then this is your place. Old Time…it is not. The server left us waiting to checkout for an extra amount of time. This did not seem to be a local’s place to eat."
"The place looks a little run down, but still pretty decent. Food was cheap ($8 for 2 bacon, one egg, 1 1/2 pc. Toast, and small plate-sized piece of very crispy hash brown.) Coffee is $3 and very good (served in a handmade-looking souvenir mug). Service was quick, and the Hispanic family running the restaurant were very polite. Highly recommend, especially if you are waiting for your car at one of the many auto shops nearby."
"Lovely. I like a smaller, low key place with nice atmosphere, incredible food, and great service. 2 or 3 steps above a greasy spoon. Harley's was all that. Doing a Google breakfast search, it seemed kind of difficult to find an Anchorage cafe that had what I wanted. The Ranchero skillet had fantastic flavor and was a nice double portion size for leftovers. Highly recommend and I'll return to try other offerings."
