"This is my husband and I's go-to dinner spot. The food is always so flavorful and delicious. Service has always been good. No complaints from us! Their coconut shrimp curry is divine and my absolute favorite, for anyone looking for a recommendation."
"1/18/24 edit: Unfortunately I gotta take down a star as they've changed their chai recipe. It's less creamy and thick, and no where near as spicy as it used to be. I'm so bummed because it used to feel worth the price, but now it's watered down or some such, it's no longer worth the buy. Still going for food though! I adore Spice, the food is always well made and delicious. The spicyness levels vary and I'm happy that some dishes remain accessible for this who can't handle spicy things (like me!) While still having dishes that tackle higher spicyness preferences. The staff are always quite nice and helpful, and often I only see one wait staff for the whole floor so I know they must be stretched thin. A little patience goes a long way. My only real gripe with the restaurant is how they handle their masala chai. It's delicious, thick and creamy, but wildly inaccessible for someone on a budget. $8.50- I know you get two (a free refill) but I often only need one. I've also been told that I can't get the free refill to go- which is absurd. Regardless I will continue being a patron, just know you'll be in to spend so money on some high quality food!"
"Amazing food! We went at lunch and had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She was an electrical engineer and changed careers to open her own restaurant and share her grandmother's authentic Indian recipes. The dishes are phenomenal, authentic Indian food that you won't find anywhere else, and the portions were plentiful. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo until we had ravaged everything, but got one nonetheless. Highly recommend!"
"After dining here a couple of times, I have come to the conclusion that it is my favorite Indian food in all of Juneau. (Honestly, best I've had anywhere) The owner is super nice and added her own spin to popular dishes. If you ask for hot, it will be hot, so if you are white, be careful! The chicken tika is so tender that you can tell the chicken receives special treatments in the back when nobody is looking. Possibly a 24-hour marinate, or who knows, maybe it's been wined and dined before lights out. I would write more, but you all are hungry and found where you need to go, so get to spice... You will thank me later."
"Incredible meal! We were the first customers of today's soft opening and were very satisfied with everything we had. The new owner Nimmy has done an amazing job with the decor and is very passionate about home style cooking. Would paddle our kayaks 300 miles again to Juneau to eat here!"
