"Great food! Good prices for reasonable portions. Enjoyed everything we ordered. Kiddo gave his sausages 1000 thumbs up and asked if we could buy more. Good variety of items on the kids menu."
"I have been traveling a lot the last few years. It is always great to ask what food the server likes. Our server, without hesitation, recommended her favorite dish. It was Amazing! Also highly recommend the St Walter beer."
"Exceptional service, delicious food and , most importantly, great beer selection! We enjoyed our visit tremendously, had a great lunch and the beers’ flavors were unique and memorable. Highly recommend to stop by if you are in the area, you will opt be disappointed! Special shout out to the second floor team, including the owner, who went out of their way to make our visit a very special one, thank you!"
"We 100% drove 9 hours for the sole purpose of visiting this place. We were not disappointed. The reason for the visit is that we are huge fans of German brewing and dabble in it ourselves. While we were visiting another German brewery in Colorado(Zwei) they’d talked about this place and their great beer, which is something to take note of from them as their beer is some of the best German beer I’ve had in the US. So we had a free weekend and made the trip. No matter how you get here, the drive is great and will not disappoint nor will the city. Bayern itself is a very fun atmosphere and is divided into the restaurant upstairs and the brewery downstairs, though you can get beer at both, we only went to the restaurant so not sure if you can get food at both but maybe. The staff were very friendly and did a great job. We were not crazily hungry but we were not passing up a chance at this food so we ordered one entree to split. When the food came out it was divided into two portions on two plates. That alone was awesome, but the food itself was perfect. If you are a fan of German dishes you are going to want to eat here as it was spot on. For beer we did the flight which includes everything they serve so that was perfect as we are both indecisive and want to try everything and that usually ends up being one of each beer in a normal size to accomplish that. The beer was very true to style and all seemed to follow a common base that was built on to spotlight the hops, process, yeast, or additional grain bill. All in all they did a great job on the beer an it is something to be appreciated. This will be a staple of any drive this direction in the future."
"We only had one afternoon to go out in Missoula and Bayern Brewery was the one place that piqued our interest enough to go (and stay for several hours). The trational German food and beers drew us in. We stayed with some appetizers: Gurkensalat (cucumber salad) and Udo's Dragon Soup. The soup was out of this world delicious, even on a hot day. We only ordered a cup but we wish we had ordered the bowl; it was that good! The cucumber salad was good and refreshing but we had to ask for salt & pepper to take it up a notch. For entrees we got Brat in a Bun and Brat & Sauerkraut. Yep, we love brats!! Both were delicious especially the bun that the brat was in. Surprisingly we had to ask for the 6 sauces (which thankful I had read about online and knew to ask for). We tried all of their draft beers by ordering flights and some 16 oz glasses. We liked all the beers so much that it was hard to choose a favorite. One note of caution: they only have a brewer's license so each guest is limited to 4 beers per visit. Fine but it would've been nice if they had told us this in advance and not when we were ordering our 5th beer. They have an outdoor patio which was spacious and inviting despite the smoky and hot weather. The staff went out of their way to inform us on our selections and make us feel welcomed. We are so happy with our decision to visit Bayern."
