Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

"I have always used Sherwin Williams for a long time and never had issues. The other day, I went into the Hamilton, MT store looking for help with a paint project I have been struggling with. Let's just say, the customer service was very lacking and I left knowing I will not return."

"To whoever the woman was with the blonde hair working today, your pitiful display of customer service was enough to make me write my first ever review.. I came into Sherwin Williams this afternoon to grab another quart of paint that I had just purchased a few days ago. The gentlemen who waited on me last week were extremely helpful and kind, polar opposite of my experience today. I came in, stated what I needed, this woman went in the back for about five seconds and said “we don’t have it.” To which I responded, “are you sure about that? I was just here a few days ago and they said there was more if need be.” You could tell instantly that this woman did not like her judgement being questioned at all. Then the other man working with her went over and pointed it out. To which her response was to turn to me and ask, “was it urethane ?” Not, “actually I might of been wrong” or “you know what we might have it” I responded with “I’m not sure but you can look it up. It should be on the account.” She coldly asks “last name?” I give it. Says nothing, goes in the back, grabs some paint, says something to her coworker and comes back to the computer. Still no clarification on if they have the paint. So I ask “so, you do have it?” And the response is a haughty “yes”. I then ask if the sale is still happening. The men who waited on me last time, told me about it and it was a pretty good deal. Her response is a crisp “no, it ended Friday”. At this point, I’m smiling nearly laughing at the ridiculous of this woman, who is actually angry because someone questioned her quick and turns out, inaccurate judgment. Never once was there a “I was wrong we have it”. She then ends it all by telling me I should be painting thinner coats and then I probably wouldn’t of needed the second quart of paint and to do that in the future. I hope you’re reading this because you were without a doubt the worst sales rep I’ve ever come across. And you know the worst part of it all, I have a strong feeling if I would of been a man not a young woman your attitude would of been completely different. Do better, learn to admit fault and heads up, you probably shouldn’t be in customer service."

"I was approached by a employee right away. They didn't have the swatch that I was interested in so he gave me a book of swatches to bring back anytime, no deposit. That shows great salesmenship and confidence in product. And they wore masks!! Very important to me, I will be ordering my paint here."

"Just went to get my stained color matched and I had the worst customer service, they told me they could not color match my stain because they couldn't find my account, then he started to make a bigger deal about it and proceeded to tell me I was In the wrong. And we are talking about the manager here (PRICE) 10/10 would not recommend this store. I went to ace hardware and they color matched it for me in 10 minutes and was perfect!!"
