"Wow! Visiting Whitefish. Tony and Tina gave me excellent service, a gorgeous Mani-pedi and the most wonderful care. Extremely clean salon, comfortable chairs, and the friendliest, most lovely people. Thank you so much Tony and Tina, I will be back on my next visit to Whitefish!"
"This was my first time in Whitefish and since I was on a mini vacation I wanted to get myself a pedicure. Staff was very nice a courteous. I got the supreme and it was worth it. Tina and Tony were great. Got me in without waiting. Tina did my foot/leg massage and it was wonderful. She checked several times she wasn’t hurting me which I appreciate (even though I have a high pain tolerance and have slight feeling in my feet). I work in the medical field so I’m on my feet 12 hrs a day. I had been working a lot recently on contract and went over my every 2 week pedicure. I really appreciate the great work they did. I’ll totally come back if I’m ever in town again. God Bless!!!"
"After only day of this $60 SNS manicure, the clear coat and dip had a hair line crack. On several other nails, the top coat is also peeling. The SNS was not buffed down enough after application causing a thick layer on each nail. Before coming here, I strongly recommend reading the reviews regarding the attitude of the staff. They are not accommodating or polite. I would have requested a fix of the crack but I’m visiting from out of town and this was not an option. Not once did their staff "advise" to get the SNS top coat vs. gel. I advised them that I get gel top coat and they said that it was fine. Back home, I go to several different salons, and I get the gel topcoat and it has never cracked hairline in this matter after one day. My SNS manicures with the gel top coat will typically last 3 weeks. This cracked due to the nail tech dipping each nail 6-7 times into the dip. This created a large and heavy coat. There was very little buffing and shaping after the dip process was done, which also led to the chunky and thick coat. Lastly, the last step in the process was when the tech dipped my completed nails in acetone which removed the sheen. I've gone to salons for years and I have never encountered this strange step. The most disappointing part of this experience at Nail Toepia truly was the attitude of the staff. One of my friends left briefly to take a video call and the female nail tech that was working on my nails glared at her and was looking at the door in a distrusting way. I came with two friends and none of us were leaving the premises. I let the tech know that she was just stepping out to take a call briefly, but she still maintained a sour demeanor. My friend returned shortly after taking the call. The male tech was trying to insist that my sister-in-law do SNS instead of gel. Clearly it is up to the customer's choice and saying "no" once should be enough. The timing was poorly planned as well. My two friends did not have any polish on, but I needed SNS removed. I was taken care of last and waited for awhile to even have the SNS to start to soak off. It would have been more time efficient to start on the SNS removal first and then start on the two gel manicures which would certainly take less time. My warning: read the reviews. And read the responses from the owner. They are some of the most shockingly unprofessional and uncourteous responses that I have ever seen from a business. These are from the business on Google. "Hi Sarah, you had two choices. To stay or to leave. If you are not in agreement with how any business operates, the door is right there. You are welcome to exit and not get anything done. If your last visits were so bad, why did you come back? There are tons of places in the valley. We would be glad to recommend a few. Maybe go somewhere else/ do it at home? It’s quite confusing choosing to stay and not walk out, then rant about it afterwards?? We are not going to even get into nail education with you as I’m sure you know it all." "No chip is gel polish fyi, and theres not alot of people working at this location so yes we would have to pick up phone calls, probably thats how you got in too. Not a big city nail salon. Also, Pick up personal phone calls when she wasn’t working on you, and your nails were drying is sorta irrelevant. Lol" "Have you read the prices on the menu carefully before picking services plus add ons Miss Brown? Our prices are reasonably low to average compared to everyone else here in the Flathead county, especially for Whitefish. You wanted to bargain a deluxe pedicure ($45) with intense callus removal for the price of a basic pedicure $35. We denied your request because our salon is not a marketplace of any sort for this type of bargaining. You got mad, left, and the service was never given. Please be more specific in your review next time and maybe if you actually got a pedicure here done by us, you would think differently. Thanks""
"My favorite nail salon in the valley! They always do such an amazing job and are so friendly and easy to talk to. I went on a trip abroad and my last set of dip nails literally stayed on for about 3 weeks. I decided to do something fun this time and Mimi absolutely nailed it! My expectations have been beyond exceeded everytime I go to Nailtopia and I could not be happier with how this set turned out."
