"Delicious burgers and fries. The staff is always great!"
"Spent 12 weeks in Salmon. We ate inside once and placed to-go orders a few times after that. I really appreciated the days that they post their specials on the Facebook page. That’s what drew us in almost every time. Burgers are excellent. The fries were my favorite. They seem to be made in-house, definitely not your normal frozen kind. I had a crispy chicken sandwich with bacon, cheese, and honey mustard that was excellent. Fountain drinks are really good, not watered down. The gentleman who took our orders was friendly and courteous. There’s a super adorable baby that I assume belongs to an owner or employee and you literally can’t keep from smiling when you see that sweet face! As far as the food goes it was our second favorite place in Salmon. Thank you! **Now to the not so great part. I would have rated 5 stars, but I did remove one star because I heard two employees mocking my husband’s southern accent and it really irritated me. He said something to the man who took our order about how great the burger was, and one lady behind the counter repeated what he said in a fake, mocking, super over the top southern accent and then she and another lady both laughed. I don’t think they realized I could hear them, but we were the only customers in there at the time so their voices carried quite clearly to where we sat. It was so rude. If I’m being 100% honest, I wanted quite badly to say something to them, but I know myself enough to know when my temper will get the best of me, and it definitely would have in that moment; so we sat there, quietly finished our meal, and left. I’ll be honest, it left such a bad taste in my mouth that I almost wrote them off completely after that, but as a small business owner myself, I wanted to give them a second chance. We did not dine in anymore though. The food really is good and we probably would have been 3-4 time a week regulars if we hadn’t been made to feel uncomfortable, but we ordered a total of 5 times. Everywhere we went in Salmon people commented on our accent. “Where does that accent come from?” “I love your accent, there’s just something about a southern drawl.” “Where you from? I know that accent isn’t local!” But this was the only time I felt like someone was being intentionally nasty about it. To the lady who did that: You demonstrated poor customer service skills and made us feel embarrassed and belittled when we were paying guests in your establishment. As Jake says in Sweet Home Alabama, “Honey, just cuz I talk slow doesn’t mean I’m stupid.” To be honest, y’all sound pretty weird to us, too, but we have enough manners not to mock you when you’re sitting right there. Do better. I leave you with a great big Southern “Bless your heart” and hope you can make this a learning experience and be aware of how your words can impact someone’s day (and sometimes your income)."
"I am genuinely upset that I did not try their food sooner. As a Salmon native, I can say that their burgers are hands down the best in town. Not to mention their incredible mozzarella sticks and french fries. The BBQ pulled pork burger is out of this world. I can't wait to try the breakfast burger!"
"Hands down, best burger I've ever had. I was in town for work. Read the reviews, and had to see for myself. They're not a lie. Real, handmade, quality food made fresh right in front of you. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town or at Lost Trail. 100% recommend. Don't miss out!"
