"Update 1/26/24. My wife and I went here tonight for our anniversary. As usual, just f!fantastic! I had the seafood soup, and for dinner my wife had the wonderful Beef Strogoffanoff. I tried the Scallop and Bacon Gumbo! Wow! 10 stars. The atmosphere To add to this review of 4 years ago. Wow. Every time we go back here, and it often, we are amazed at the amazing establishment and the dining experience we will enjoy and do enjoy. Personally, my absolutely favorite choice of Restaurants, here in Montana! 10 stars! The atmosphere is nice and quiet. The service was absolutely flawless and she was so professional and personable. One of the top 3 in the county or maybe the best in the valley! Tremendous wine collection as well at very respectable prices. You owe it to yourself to try The Catered Table. Make reservations as well. What an amazing find. Had an amazing meal! Best salmon I had in years, and I was just up in Alaska!!! Their wine selection was amazing as well. I would compare to the Pearl or better and 1/3 the price! Great service and just awesome. One of the best meals I ever have had in my 14 years here in Montana! I am orginally from NYC and know great food. Can't wait to go back!"

"Catered Table is our go-to restaurant for special occasions. Tucked in Stevensville's historic downtown, it is a jewel with delightful organic choices and a wine list that pleases the most selective palate. Portion sizes do not overwhelm, are beautifully plated and the wait-staff is attentive. Savor that meal by taking your time and reintroducing conversation back into your meal...there's no rush. And the noise level is controlled in this small restaurant, so you can do just that. One of the best spots in the 'Root!"

"My husband and I stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant, and I can't recommend it enough! The Catered Table is definitely a little fancier, and the hostess did say that reservations are strongly encouraged, but we happened to walk in on a slow (tuesday) night and were seated right away. The service was extraordinarily friendly, and the ambiance was downright perfect! If you're looking to hop in, eat, and rush off, this isn't the place for you. However, if you're looking for a pleasant time with phenomenal food and kind service, then this is your spot! We ordered the bourbon soy glazed pork belly as our appetizer. We ordered the shrimp scampi, and that night's special, a braised short rib over a creole sauce with wild rice and a white chocolate cranberry creme brulee for dessert. I ordered the Black Pearl red wine and just had to order a second glass. The food was incredible, and the portions were so perfect! It was a little more pricey as meals go but not break the bank insane... and WORTH EVERY PENNY. This place will not disappoint!"

"Catered Table was our choice this year for our anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. The ambience was lovely and the service is exceptional. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. We both had the Friday prime rib special which was absolutely perfect. The reason this is receiving four-star instead of a five star is due to watery, bland, mashed potatoes. Also, I literally had to walk through the kitchen area to get to the single restroom, which happened to be busy, so I had to make a double trip back through the kitchen again. I will not hesitate to dine here again. However, I will avoid the mashed potatoes next time. Oh yes, we also shared the Cherry Tart with Vanilla ice cream, made with Flathead Cherries, and it was delicious."
