Dr. Jason Hunziker

Dr. Jason Hunziker is a distinguished doctor specializing in psychiatry, located at 50 Medical Drive North in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. With a background in Anthropology and Chemistry, Dr. Hunziker graduated cum laude from the University of Utah before attending the University of Utah School of Medicine for his residency. He is board-certified in general adult psychiatry and consult liaison psychiatry by the ABPN.

As an Associate Professor, Dr. Hunziker supervises psychiatry residents and medical students on clinical rotations. He is actively involved in teaching and mentoring students interested in a career in psychiatry. Clinically, he provides inpatient treatment for a wide range of behavioral health disorders and offers outpatient and consultation services for complex medical and substance use concerns.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hunziker serves as the Division Chief of Adult Psychiatry, the Behavioral Health Medical Director for the University of Utah Health plans, and the Utah delegate to the American Psychiatric Association.
