"Please can someone help me I need to talk to human about these hospital bills that I am disputing… You have no right to keep sending me bills without my signature and acknowledgment! Why are you framing me to pay these hospital bills I do NOT even recognized! Maybe you could send a police or lawyer to discuss all of these in person as me and my husband already paid so much with the copy of the receipts if you want to see it. Once you bring me your lawyer and the police then all things will be revealed about what you really did to me. Where is your EVIDENCE or proof for all of these hospital bills that you are sending to me? You also have NO right to sell my confidential information or else you will violate the HIPAA LAW. Show me the proof of evidence."
"I have been going to my doctors office for 20 years. The reason I am writing this review, is because they have recently been bought out by Steward. So now when you have questions on your billing, you can't talk to anyone in the office, they just give you phone numbers that you have to transfer multiple times to finally find the person you need. I received a call from Steward billing about lab work I had done back in October. They said I owed $630. They had my childhood address on record which I haven't lived at in 10 years. I was confused because I had been to an appointment at the same office earlier that month and it was on my same insurance and counted as in-network. So I wasn't sure why there would be any problems with insurance covering my lab work. After about an hour of being on the phone with multiple people, they told me that when I had my blood work done I didn't tell them which lab I needed to send it to in my network, so they just chose one. Which happened to be out of my network. I have never had this issue in 20 years of getting lab work done. They offered me 50% off if I paid it right then, so I did because I was so frustrated and tired from all of the chaos. I asked around to a few different doctors offices if that was truly the case, because I had never dealt with this issue before. All three of them said the exact same thing, absolutely not, when you go to a doctor in network you can expect your lab work to be sent to an in network place as well. They told me that they would have just eaten the cost. One office mentioned that they have issues with Steward constantly, which is always nice to hear."
"This is one of the most shady companies I have even had to work with. I don’t know how, who, or why a portion of my billing was done through them. They are trying to collect on a bill I have already payed in full, with paper work and receipt to prove this. Both times I have tried to contact and fax this information to them and they tell me the billing department will contact me when I can do so. Well they never did and I got a notice from collections instead. Now calling back I can not get anyone to talk to me they keep telling me someone will contact me. The bill is only a small amount but the main point is the principle behind all of this. It is a shame that dirty companies like this exists and run people around trying to squeeze extra money out of them. I am glad to see that I am not the only one with this experience. All the one star reviews speak the truth of this place. Legal action will need to happen."
"The therapy location I used was only able to process my first copayment. They told me upon further visits they were having trouble with their system, not to worry. I continued to go or several more visits without receiving any bills until well after I discontinued going, mainly for fear of what my bill would be. I didn't receive any billings for the 2 month period I was going. It wasn't until a few months later that I recieved a bill as a lump sum, no detail. What a nightmare! Now they are turning over each of the charges to collections I will avoid using them again at all costs."
"We have had an awful experience working with billing through them. Recently we received a large bill from two years ago. We have tried to contact them to pay it, only to find that they were in a transitional period and we couldn't access or pay our bill if we wanted to. The bill was not correct, as I was double insured and they didn't run it through any insurance. They told us to wait until February and to call them back then. We just received a bill in the mail from a collections agency, even though we can't even pay or get through to our account. It's been a nightmare and we aren't sure how it's going to work out."
