"If you love thin walls, a property management company that won’t answer your calls and almost zero security deposit refund after you spend HOURS scrubbing on your hands and knees this is the place for you! Seriously just save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. There is a reason their google rating is so low!"
"Don't move here if possible. Total crooks. I hate leaving reviews but this is a mere warning for others... I lived here for 3 years and upon moving out, I was charged for multiple erroneous charges and their reply was just...the charges are "accurate"...I assumed most of my deposit would be consumed for cleaning, carpet cleaning etc, but I was shocked with a bill for an additional $2,000 ($3,300 total incl my $1200 deposit) for "replacing shower heads", "cleaning blinds AND replacing blinds", "painting entire walls" (though the property manager said walls were just touched up) $150 for "blowing out the dryer vent" it goes on and on...I was fine with paying $500 for the deep cleaning the apartment needed, and $200 for carpet cleaning, leaving $500 of my deposit for other ancillary expenses...but to be ravaged for an additional $2000 is insane. I'm a single co-parent of one child, no pets, no smoking, working full time and rarely home, the apartment was NOT in the condition they claim and I can't say enough about not renting here. They gave me a 15% discount for "normal wear and tear" but then overreached by 200%...My sister-in-law lives here and I cringe at what egregious charges they are going to charge her if and when she moves out. Keep you money away from MAXXPM. ZERO STARS. Can't wait for their canned response..."we're sorry you didn't have a good experience...we pride ourselves..(in taking advantage of renters)..."
"Cheaply built apartments that are run by MaxxPM. They are the absolutely worst management company I’ve ever come across. They will nickel and dime you for anything and everything, never answer the phone, and are usually quite rude. We got an eviction notice (which they charged us $50 for) for not being able to pay a $400 vendors bill for repairs on the SAME DAY the office sent the invoice. Ridiculous. If you are thinking of living here run fast and don’t look back."
"We were approved to live here and another place at the same time. We took the other place because it was a small landlord rather than a company. The day before we got our keys, the landlord called and explained there had been a horrible accident and they needed the apartment for family reasons. I called village on 4th back and they explained, even though we were already approved, we would have to re apply and spend the 150+ dollars to apply again. If they buckle and dime me like this before I even live there, I can’t imagine how awful they are to actually deal with."
