"Emailed about frustrations on work done and it was turned on me as to why I didn’t point it out. Not my job. I paid $6500 to repair my home and got crap work with no ethic. They didn’t replace old trim to match the new trim knowing it wouldn’t line up, but I trusted their judgement since I am not a home repair individual. They plastered to try to make it work. Instead of cutting out the trim to fit the vanity they set it and placed a wood strip to hold the sink making the base stick out, this among all the other issues I complained about. They painted a wall they weren’t supposed to which I now have to paint. After expressing my frustration, and being blamed for not saying anything prior to then, workers came back to paint. When discussing the paint job with the workers the excuse for poor work was that there was poor work previously. Take pride in your work, don’t make excuses. When I reached out afterwards and asked about the flooring bands he stated that’s why they came out and asked why I didn’t say anything. I was not told why they came back out just that they were there to paint. They also wrote in blue ink that has now seeped through and I have “blanco” on my walls. Messaged the owner and received no response. I’ll have to redo everything. Don’t waste your money like I did. I’m a single mother and have never been in this position and trusted them to do their job. That trust was taken advantage of. Insurance quoted $5500 but I went with them because they were willing to work with me. My mistake. Paid an additional $1000 for less than acceptable work just to get them out of my home. Worst experience ever. Won’t trust any company again. I’d save more doing it on my own watching YouTube videos. My email to the owner: I would like to begin with saying how grateful I am for you beginning repairs on my home prior to a deposit. With that said, I have noticed quite a few things that I am not happy with. First off, the trim. Instead of ripping out the old trim when a match couldn’t be found it was caulked over and painted and it is noticeable. I don't fully understand why the additional trim was not removed so that everything fit properly together and didn't look pieced together. When the trim was put into place, after the flooring was already installed, a gap was left which I had to point out. Then when that was “fixed” no effort was put into making the trim look natural or blend. And the fact that I pointed it out and the excuse was made only “so much could be done” was frustrating, when it’s apparent no effort was made. I pointed out issues with the paint, and it was not fixed. I have also noticed that the paint job in the bathroom is not even and you can see the white behind the color, and there is color on the white wall along with the trim. There was also tape on the wall that was painted over leaving white lines on my other wall. I was told by one of the workers that they weren't sure if the tape was supposed to be painted or not, but painted the tape anyway. There is also paint all over my hinges and door knobs and flooring throughout my bottom floor. My toilet is also leaking water from the bottom which I assume means that it was not sealed all the way. The wood strip between my carpet and the wood flooring does not match at all, and isn't properly stapled down. There are also white paint spots on my new wood floors. The bathroom floor and under the bathroom sink were not cleaned and dust and parts were left. I feel like everything was rushed and no care was actually taken. I would like all of these things fixed before I make the final payment. This is my home and I am paying a lot to a company that is supposed to be doing professional quality work, which I am not seeing. I have attached photos of all of the issues I described above."
