"Unselfish service! There was a driver in our neighborhood whose car had broken down while making a delivery. The car would start but would not come out of park. We called Sergeant's Towing and explained the situation and asked if they could come tow the car to a nearby auto shop. The tow truck driver instead offered to explain to us how to get the car out of park. We were not car experts but he patiently explained to us over the phone what the problem likely was, where and what to look for under the hood, and how to make a fix that would probably only be a temporary fix but would at least get the car out of park so that it could be driven rather than towed to a mechanic shop. How awesome is that! He could have easily said I'll be right there, made the same fix he told us to do himself, towed the car and made a profit. But he made no profit at all. And the car owner went from having to pay for a tow to a mechanic shop to instead driving the car to a car parts store to see if he could (now that he knew the problem) buy some parts to fix it himself.
