A Plus Garage Door Repair

"I called to get my garage door lift fixed. After 30+ minutes they wanted to replace bearings, "frayed" wires, etc. with an estimate to fix almost $2000! And they charged me $29 for the service call. Called another company and no "frayed" wires, no bad bearings and got the job done for $890. A+ is a rip off!!!"

"A plus garage door repair is fantastic. The entire process was smooth for us! I honestly had about 10 different companies come out and give me estimates! They all did the same measurements, gave me their estimate, and went on their way, except for A plus. They spent an additional 20 minutes or so explaining things in detail to me about the garage door system and how different things worked. They went the extra mile, so we felt most comfortable with them. We had other offers lower than their cost, but we wanted the professionalism and customer service that they showed with the consultation. Leading up to the installation, we were well informed and updated regularly of when our door would be in! The installation went smoothly! They were friendly, respectful, and all around fantastic. Highly recommend A plus garage door repair! You won’t be disappointed!"

"I’m going to provide a mixed review. We recently bought a new house and within a week, one of our overhead doors stopped working. First the GOOD: great call reception, scheduling, and prompt service. Technician was very friendly, instantly recognized the problem (broken spring), clearly skilled, and performed excellent repair, as the door works perfectly, nearly silent, and I am confident it will continue working well. Now the negative: the upscale was instant and persistent. First suggested new doors. I said no, and CLEARLY described how we just bought and have many things we are looking to replace and the garage doors at this point are the BOTTOM of the list. I described how we are low-traffic owners, working from home and no school aged kids…. I even said in a year or two maybe we would want to upgrade our doors w/home renovation, but not really knowing our style/wants now, so again clarified that at this time “we simply want to get it working for the lowest possible cost”. He then detailed their comprehensive upgrade effectively replacing most all operating parts. Again I bluntly and clearly stated that “there is no chance we are going to opt for anything more than the lowest cost option to have the doors working, AT THIS TIME”. He again then made one more suggestion for the higher service… and to clarify, this was before he knew there was ANY issue other than the broken spring. So that all out of the way, the tech went on to finish the repair professionally and I have to say I have never had an overhead door work so smoothly. This begs the question, is the MO of the company to push an up-sell? I would suggest this be backed off… many of us have good reasons to just get the repair done and not be pushed for more…. I’m VERY glad I resisted the extra $1,000+ in costs because my door works perfectly. So I can recommend this company for their fine service, but would suggest they back off their sales on repair calls."

"Zack came out to figure out why the garage door was making terrible noise when opening and closing after a new opener was installed. He did a great job by explaining and fixing the problem. I have used A Plus for years and they have always had excellent service and customer service."
