"Delicious hangar steak perfectly prepared in an amazing sauce with mushrooms. Crisp potato skins. Large wine list. Very expensive but worth it for my husband's 80th birthday celebration. Wonderful desserts, especially the lemon. We sat outside where it was quieter. Waiter attentive and helpful. Valet parking much appreciated as there is very little street parking. My new favorite splurge restaurant."

"Great service, and we came on sushi night so got to try volcano roll, bluefin tuna (wow!! Melted like butter in my mouth) and crispy rice was delicious. Drinks are beautiful and creative. Wagyu burger is a cut above; the fries alone stand out, being sprinkled with zaatar. The rosewater pistachio dessert was very special - a must try as you won't find anything like it elsewhere. Lovely outdoor ambiance, especially at sunset. What a nice way to spend a night with friends in LA! Split dishes with friends; eating tapas style definitely works here"

"Listen !!!!!!!!! Highly recommended!!!!! I’m not one of those people that “spend time” to write reviews but I felt that this time is a must! My husband and I eat kosher food only, and after trying so many, we decided to give Next Door a chance! So the food was delicious!!!!!!! Everything that we ordered was amazing!!!!! Beside of a good and tasty food that super important, the costumer service that we received was extremely high!!!!!!!! Unfortunately in 2023 servers in many restaurants give you the feeling like they’re doing you a favor when they serve, so many times I end up my restaurant experience with few thing that I wanted to request or complains but didn’t really say anything because of the bad feeling that I’m having as a dining. But that wasn’t the case in this restaurant! Since we came in we got the feeling that they care about us and they’ll do everything that they can to let us enjoy and have a good experience, each server was nicer than the other one. In the end of the day we enjoined so much so we came back in two days again. And a small and important story about this restaurant: five minutes after we came in, my husband lost an envelope with money. There was a crazy traffic in the restaurant and a long line to the restrooms. I was sure that my husband lost it in the restrooms and the person that was next took it. I asked the manager if she is able to look at the cameras and maybe find out something that will give me my money back, and even tho the restaurant was full and she was super busy, she said yes. But you know?! She didn’t even need to open the cameras because the server found it and gave it back to her! What an angel !!!!! Incredible people! Go there!!! You guys are going to enjoy - guaranteed!!!!! This is a must place!!!!!!!"

"Coming here not knowing what to expect we were not expecting much other than an expensive bill. Right when we sat down we were treated to an amazing server named Rodrigo. Immediately he came over to bring the menu and the various delicacies on offer We made our order which was bread an appetizer a cocktail and two mains. The bread came within two minutes along with tahini and tomato salsa. It was exceptional. The salad was exquisite and the mains were cooked to perfection. As an afterthought we ordered desert and it was out of this world. I highly recommend this restaurant however be prepared for the high price tag. It cost us roughly $90 a person."
