"Frank is great! Very knowledgeable and so friendly. Have been using him for years and he always goes the extra mile to make us happy."
"Most of the low star reviews here relate to the buyers incompetence or insecurity. I had a great experience shopping for an engagement ring. Jane was informative, helpful, and happy throughout the entire searching process and while they are salespeople, they are far more down to earth and candid than anyone working with a larger corporation who could care less if you purchase. My ID happened to be expired and they worked with me although I could not, at that moment establish financing due to Utah laws and regulations. I look forward to any future experience I will have with Masseys jewelers and recommend you stop by and form your own opinion before reading a 1 star review where reasoning is largely out of Masseys control. They are a family owned shop competing with the Sterling jewelry conglomerate - if you support local businesses this is a fantastic option!"
"Never buy from here!!!! I purchased an engagement ring for my husband on 11/17/2023. They were very patient and helped me find the perfect ring. However, the size was too big. I was told we can "exchange" the ring for the right size. This would only take 2-3 weeks. I dropped it off on 11/22/23. They are now telling me the ring was sent until 12/05/2023!!! Two weeks after!!! I went to the jewelry store on 12/28/23 to ask for my ring and they explained the ring is taking longer than planned due to jewelers closing from Christmas to New Years. My husbands ring was to be finished before Christmas. I asked for a refund of the ring. They refused and said they would follow up on my order on Tuesday 01/02/2024. I said I will want my refund on 01/03/2024 If I didn't hear back from them. Their manager simply said "Ok". I went back on 01/05/2024 to ask for my refund. She started with she called Monday "01/01/2024" and they didn't get back to her. And was then told I cannot have the ring refunded because my request was a special order and they are refitting the diamonds to the new ring. I am now being told that I cannot have a refund because it is past the 30 days and it is a special order. Note: this was a cobalt ring sold to me for $692.13.... It isn't even a huge refund I am asking for. I plan on buying our wedding rings at Kay Jewelers right across from Massey's where my husband bought my engagement ring! We dropped my ring off the same day, special ordered and got it by Christmas time!!! Their service was far better than this place offered. A refund is all I am asking for. I will be taking additional action if necessary for me to get a refund."
"The jewelry is gorgeous, that can not be denied. But I have unfortunately had repeated problems with the craftsmanship. A stone fell out of a ring my husband bought me within a few months of purchase. We took it in to get fixed and a different stone fell out of the same ring within one week of it being returned to me. My husband also bought me hoop earrings here. I wore them out one night and only returned home with one due to a clasp issue. If I am paying over $300 for hoop earrings, I would hope that the clasp is sturdy enough to withstand dinner and a movie. They were my favorite pair of earrings, so there is certainly a lot of good to say about that. But I also can’t wear them anymore since they fell out and were lost. I just can’t justify giving hundreds more dollars for, yes, undoubtedly beautiful products, but ones that won’t last even a year."
"I have been a customer here for decades...yep, I'm older...lol. What's so wonderful, is that there's a few of their staff that have been there as long, if not longer, than I've been a customer. As always, they have a wonderful selection of items and exceptional customer service!"
