"The microwave didn’t work in room or lobby. Went to take a shower and let water run for 20 minutes and was not even luke warm. We left for another motel. Would not recommend staying here. Staff working were nice but it was things not within their control if owner and chain don’t address deficiencies."

"This place is old and needs major upgrades we stopped in as the other hotel had no vacancy when we pulled into this hotel the parking lot was empty which should have been a red flag ! Regardless we booked the room , yes it had a fresh coat of paints one wall which looks pretty good , the lobby was okay, now for the room full of mold if I could post pictures I would the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while the toilet has black marks in the bowl and did not look clean at all, we were going to have a shower but the water pressure and the heat of the water was very bad we let the water run for atleast 10 minutes and still I could keep my hand on the hot water barely even hot. Just like the coffee in the morning gross !! Luke warm at best. It was a good thing we had bottled water as there wasn’t enough pressure from the taps to rinse tooth brush STAY somewhere else!! The other reviews that say it was great are full of it and possibly written by the staff. Or that is what there clients like. Honestly it was the worst stay we have ever encountered and we travel a lot. The girl that worked was very pleasant at the front desk and we didn’t burden her with everything as it is obvious they have no maintenance at this hotel how they can charge 118 $ is beyond me"

"After a few attempts (about 10-15 min) at re-programing room keys, we opened the door and wouldn't take one step inside. There were lights/ fan running, the bed had obviously been slept in..I'm honestly not sure the room we were assigned was even vacant. Among other things, the second floor reeked of fresh cigarette smoke, it did not feel like a safe place to stay overnight. We tried to get a refund, but had to settle for a mildly convincing reply from the night desk worker that our money would be refunded "at some point". I've traveled from Canada to California numerous times throughout my life, stayed in a variety of motels/hotels, and this was by far the worst experience, and most insulting experience I've had. Motel 6 happily took out money and gave us a room that looked like something in a horror movie, and didn't seem at all concerned when we brought it to their attention. Do better, Motel 6. We didn't have high expectations and they still somehow delivered an atrocious experience. Seeing 1 month old reviews mentioning cockroaches doesn't instill confidence that your company cares about its reputation, to keep locations up to a BARE MINIMUM standard of cleanliness, and has no organizational skills to avoid assigning a dirty, used hotel room."

"I’ve never left a motel so quickly in my life. After trying to get the front desk attention a second time, I finally had a functioning door key. Upon opening the room I discovered the ceiling fan on, the bathroom light still on, and the bed in shambles. I did not take the time to look for bodies. I immediately closed the door, went downstairs, and demanded a refund. On the way back downstairs I was subjected to the smell of cigarettes, multiple blocked open room doors, and one room that didn’t even have a door handle or lock on it. The photo attached is the condition of the room as I opened the door to it. Avoid this place."

"Motel 6 is never that good, but this one is especially bad. My room had roaches, flies, and a mosquito when I arrived. It smelled musty and the surfaces were visibly dirty. The fridge didn't work and neither did the AC. The staff was playing loud music past 1am and I had to call the front desk and tell them to turn it off. Another group (I assume more staff) started loudly talking in the lobby around 6am. The lobby was a mess and someone kept the side doors of the building propped open all night. After a long day of travel, this is not the place to stay. It's unsanitary, loud, and not as cheap as other Motel 6 locations. I expect affordable hotels to be clean and for at least the staff to maintain respectful noise levels during sleeping hours. I won't be back to this location and I won't choose Motel 6 again - this was definitely the last time I give this chain a chance."
