Super 8 by Wyndham Nephi

"The guy checking me in was the least friendly person. He tried to charge me significantly more than what it said it was online, so I asked him why, and he said because the online one isn’t the king room. So I asked if I booked online would I get the rate it says online. He said frustratedly to just book it online. So I did while standing there in front of him. Then once it was booked, he looked at me and said, “we don’t have any queen rooms.” I was so confused, why would he tell me to book online and watch me book it. I asked him “well can I get a refund or why did he tell me to book online. He gaslighted me saying “he doesn’t know, it’s my phone and I made the choice to book it.” I was persistent in saying I was so confused as to what was going on. Then out of frustration he gave me the room I booked, for the same price online, so after ALL of that, he had only been lying to me. Room was what you’d expect from super 8, and the rest of the reviews are pretty accurate on locking doors and breakfast. Good luck if you stay here. I was glad I had a bed to sleep in and a shower though. Beats sleeping in the car."

"Place is a little bit outdated but hey it's a cheap room to crash for the night. Reservations were easy and affordable. Also were pet friendly. I would go back if you're just looking for a place to sleep for the night. Don't expect high-end"

"We had a wonderful stay here! The property is right off the highway so it is very convenient for a nightly stay. The front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were very clean and the price was fair as well. We enjoyed out stay and will return next time passing through!"

"First off when I was booking, I Called and talked to a gal at the front desk to find out how much there pet charge was. She told me that the price I was booking was the total price no additional charge foe pets because they are pet friendly. When I arrived I was charged $30 more for my 2 little dogs. And a $50 damage deposit. And there is so much damage to this room already I took pictures and video to document and made them give me in writing that I would not be charged. This place is a dump, if I could give zero stars I would. avoid at all costs."

"Avoid this place at all costs. The outdoor locks do not lock so anyone could get in. The rooms have a crack in the door so that you can see outside into the hallway. When we stayed, we were in a 1 bed king and walked into the room and there was an off odor. I don’t think the mattresses have ever been replaced since the place was started the mattress are so old they are as hard as a rock and you can feel the springs in them. We started looking for bedbugs and there weren’t any that we found but we did find piss stains on the bed, pillow, and the chair in the room REEKED of piss. We asked for a refund and were told that no refunds were possible. The lady said that she didn’t believe us and that we had to show her what we thought was dirty. We did and she said “no one would look there!” And we told her we don’t feel comfortable sleeping in a room with piss stains. She told us that this place was “the cleanest motel around.” We showed her the piss stain on the pillow and she insisted that the pillow case was clean so it didn’t matter - we told her that we didn’t want to sleep on a pillow with piss on it. She reluctantly offered us a different room but insisted she look at it with us since “we will find the fault in everything.” When we were looking through the other room we found a piss stain on another pillow. She was angry at us and said the pillow case was clean but reluctantly replaced the pillow. The mattresses have pads on them that are glued shut so you cannot look at the mattress. Very unpleasant experience, would recommend sleeping on the street over here. On top of that they advertise a free breakfast but when you check in there is a sign that says the breakfast is coffee and granola bars and nothing else. The staff acted like we were crazy for having a problem with staying there."
