"Utah may have some pretty intense liquor laws so say what you will about that. But I will say that given the constraints we place on these types of sales, the state did a really nice job with this building. The design is beautiful and they do a great job cramming in more brands and varieties than you would think they could. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I asked one to help explain the process if I wanted a wine from Argentina that they didn’t carry. Parking can sometimes be a bit tight since it’ll get busy around the weekends but overall, this is my favorite Utah state liquor store I’ve come across."

"Good selection, but check what they charge at the counter. I bought one item just over $20 and was charged $46. How do you prove you left with less than you paid for?"

"Make sure you get a receipt. The cashier overcharged us by $35. We went back for a refund, and the "shift supervisor" charged us an additional $23, claiming it was a refund. The only way we finally got our $58 refund was for the store manager to approve it, but she didn't have the decency to contact us or apologize. We had to deal with the shift supervisor who has no business being a shift supervisor. She belittled the original cashier in front of us and several other customers."

"Easily the nicest L store around. The staff are always nice and the store is very clean and organized. The selection is much larger than other locations too. Another thing I like is even during the busy holiday seasons and other busy times, they keep the line moving and get you through quickly. They have more checkout lanes than any other DABC location I've been to."
