"Doritos. $2.77 was the cost for one bag. Promotion claimed B1G1F(buy one get one free). 4 units @ $2.77 each & was still charged $11. Tried to explain it to the cashier & even he could not clear up the mishap. Not necessarily about the money, but the principle of advertising a BOGO just for customers to pay x2 an advertised price is crazy."
"It’s gas station coffee!! I’m not expecting much, but holy cow what an absolute nightmare!! This is the absolute worst gas station I’ve been to in years. All I needed was some coffee, I got 2 cups. It was horrid. The cappacino machine and their regular coffe literally was like hot water. There is absolutely no taste. I don’t know how it’s even possible to butcher a coffee and the cappacino machines mix themselves. I am just completely dumbfounded right now. I’m he employee took forever to come ring me up, and then I am having to stop somewhere else now to get a coffe."
"I imagine 7-Eleven has been losing ground to Maverik stores in this area, which have tons of fresh, hot food and enormous stores and restrooms. This newer 7-Eleven store seems better positioned to compete with Maverik. Larger store and quite a few offerings in the hot or "fresh" categories. Workers were nice."
"I enjoyed walking to the gas station with my friend. The employees always put up with us telling them how many days until Christmas. My friend moved, but whenever I come here I think of the good times we had together"
"As others have said, this should never have been built. The established neighborhood very politely tried to convince both the developer (an agent for 7-11 corporate) and the city that the location is simply terrible. Traffic issues at this intersection are legion: one road is owned by the city, the other by the state, and for over a decade they've blamed each other for growing congestion. Nevertheless, the developer persisted. And because their proposed use was technically allowed by city zoning, the planning commission felt powerless to intervene. If the property ever opens, know that right in / right out (northbound only entrance, northbound only exit) is a big deal. Also, there's already other gas stations 1/4 mile east on the same road and 1 mile west on the same road. If you're a die-hard 7-11er, stores with logical access can be found two minutes north and five minutes south on Triumph Boulevard. Also know that if you think you're too important to respect traffic flow here, the neighbors will see you, judge you, and hope you face expensive car troubles a few hours from now. Seriously, this is a dreadful location for any business which relies on casual or drop in traffic. Access is extremely restricted. If the road signs and markings are followed, *half* of all customer traffic nearby is automatically excluded. Anyone who tries to make commerce work here is facing a steep uphill battle."
