"I don’t know where to begin. We were instructed by our disaster cleanup company to use wall to wall carpet for replacement of our carpet. We initially were happy to do this since the cleanup company had been good to work with and did good work. We ordered the replacement carpet which took forever to come in, not their fault. But when the install happened it was a disaster. The installer told us he would be there at 9am, he didn’t arrive until 11:30, then was frustrated because he had to move some snow to bring it in through my back windows since he didn’t want to carry it down the stairs. Then they left at 3pm without installing anything and said they would be back the next morning. They never showed up and never answer any calls or texts. I waited the entire day without any idea if they would come. When I finally got in touch with them, they said they couldn’t come the next day until the evening because they had another job scheduled. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! I finally demanded that wall to wall have the installer return the following day. They were able to come the following evening and install most of the carpet pad. Again they said they would come the next evening because they had other jobs during the day. Again THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! I angrily called wall to wall again and said it had been a week and it was very unprofessional. They sent the installer out. He was very rude and angry that they had to return on 12/23 before Christmas on a Friday to install carpet. He said he was teaching his son and so they were able to get it installed quickly. They left before I could do a walk through with them. When I went to look at the install after they ran out the door, it was a disaster. There were melted parts of the carpet, I could see EVERY seam. It was uneven and the carpet seams didn’t even match. So frustrating. It’s been 8 months, the carpet hasn’t been fixed or reinstalled appropriately. The installer said “well I was training my son and you have to learn somewhere”. Excuse me, why don’t you spend $7000 on carpet that is installed poorly and then say “he has to learn somewhere”. Wall to wall just told me he is a contractor. So why are you hiring installers who have this work ethic? I blame them both. I had this same carpet installed in one day by RCWILLEY. It was ordered in installed within 2 months and looked perfect, I couldn’t see even one seam. I won’t be returning to wall to wall."
