"My container has a hole in the roof and is leaking. I did not notice when delivered as it was not raining at the time. I inquired about a claim when delivered because the doors also did not shut correctly but did not complete the request for return because I was afraid you would deliver me one that is in worse shape than the one I have. I now have water damage to all my contents inside because of the leak. I will not pay for shipping 3 times. You want me to pay initial shipping, pickup of the damaged container, and shipping of another one that is most likely in poor shape like the one you sent me initially. I want a full refund as you did not fulfill what you were paid for. The driver you used would not be able to pick up the container he delivered as he did not come with a roll back. I had to use two pieces of equipment to help him unload and he still damaged his trailer as it was a normal flatbed and the container had to be dragged off which was not blocked up. I would have bought a new container at less cost if I knew this was the way this business is operated. This company is PURE GARBAGE like the containers they sell. They will not fulfill their guarantee. They will sell you a leaking container and then offer to send you a "patch kit" and tell you to perform your own repairs so that you assume liability for damages that were existing when they sold it to you. They say a patch kit will repair and entire leaking roof of a container. They claim watertight containers and sell scrap quality, leaking, rusted out containers. They WILL NOT refund a purchase after you find out they do not deliver what they claim they have for sale. There are numerous reviews on BBB site that show if you demand a return, they tell you it costs thousands more to return than it cost to deliver. They claim a year guarantee, if you try to return it due to the condition, they will tell you that you had to buy the one year guarantee. 3/11/19 This company has continued to ignore its responsibility to fulfill its obligation to deliver a watertight container. Their standard response is the same on all complaints: They offer no solution after taking payment and not delivering what they claim to sell."
"The delivery was not well coordinated. I sent pics to the sales person of the delivery area. I asked if the delivery driver would be able to get in my driveway and drop. They told me no problem. Diver ended up stuck in my yard and looking to me to get him unstuck. I had to make a few suggestions due to the company dispatcher unsure about what to do. Delivery driver was great considering the situation. Sales and dispatch need to work on their game."
"All positive. From the first call to the agent, to the delivery, I was very happy with everyone I worked with and the quality of the shipping container. (40' standard) The agent was very informative and explained the process, along with what could be done and how. Mostly done through email and text, which I prefer. Working with the company to pay was very easy. I did use a landline phone to call in my credit card, not trusting website security. Invoices were prompt and correct. We arranged a date and time with dispatch for delivery. The driver then contacted me for specific instructions to the drop-off point. Very professional. Less than an hour from arrival to departure. A 1 ton pickup and trailer brought the container and positioned it, then slid it off. Container was better than I had expected. It was a 2000 model but was exceptionally clean and had few dents and no holes. All in all I would recommend Mini Casa to anyone wishing to buy a shipping container."
"First off the actual container is very nice, thank you. The issue is with the delivery that actually did not take place as it was scheduled. The guy called and said the truck had a problem and would be fixed shortly, then he was was waiting for another truck to swap it out. Supposedly the second truck also had an issue. Seemed odd but went with it. Then they wanted to deliver the next day, had no choice but to go with it since we took time off for this. Finally, on the second day, made it around 7:30pm, after waiting all day once again. We had to contact him in the early afternoon to see if he was even going to come since he never called. Next the driver said he could not put it in the spot we wanted, a flat grassed area, perpendicular to the driveway. We had to go with a place by the house, which was the least desired spot, but he seemed like the delivery was something he had no interest in trying/doing.. We originally gave the information to the transport company that it was a gravel drive then would just be placed onto side of it in the grassed area. It was flat and dry, no issue we were ever made aware of in that telephone conversation. The driver seemed like the process is out of his league and did not even try, just seemed like he wanted to get it over with. Now we are stuck with a 40 foot container dropped in front of, closely, to the house blocking our view. We are not at all pleased with the delivery process and feel we should of been made aware of the delivery restrictions prior to finalization. It was a very straight in and out with lots of area to get in and out. The driver seemed unwilling to work with us at all, just wanted it over with. At this time we now have a container plopped in front of our home blocking the view when we had a nice spot or two set for the placement. Unfortunately we will now need to hire a professional to move it to a more desired area. A large added expense on top of what we have already incurred. We also called our sales rep, Jina, and requested a call back/information while waiting on the delivery drop for updates. Needless to say no call returned. The delivery process is flawed in our opinion and needs some work. We bought in good faith, paid immediately and were very disappointed with the end point of delivery. The staff was extremely friendly but unfortunately the delivery left much to be desired, leaving us with further work and expenses. Thank you for allowing us to discuss our disappointment with your Customer Service department. It was nice to hear you stand behind customer purchases begin to end (delivery). We are in the process of working with you to have the container moved to the desired location or alternate area. Victoria is a pleasure to work with. Update: The unit was moved this weekend into the desired location with courteous and confident drivers. Thank you for handling the situation in an outstanding manner. Thumbs up to all. We love the unit and will recommend it."
"After the company calling to ask if 24 hours was enough advance notice of delivery, we got a call about a cancellation and they could get our containers delivered within 4-5 hours, which we said would work. Then after 5 hours, I called to see where my delivery was, only I didn't get a call back from dispatch with ant 8 information so I called another hour later only to be told that dispatch didn't even check on my order. They did call back within 5 minutes to tell me that they were just being loaded and would be 2-3 hours before delivery. Meanwhile, I had 2 people here waiting to get then unloaded so I could avoid the possibility of getting an extra charge for the time limit alloted to get unloaded. Then the driver called an hour later, leaving a message that he just got loaded and was giving me a "heads up" that he wouldn't make it today and would be here the next morning. At this point I was furious with the companies communication skills or lack thereof. So I called to speak to a manager and after she spoke to the driver she stated he was indeed loaded, would be here between 8-10 am the next day, would personally call me herself to let me know he was on his way, plus I requested to get a call 30-60 minutes before delivery to assure we could get him unloaded upon arrival and I was very upset and asked for compensation. She said she would get me a refund for $200. The next morning, I had to call at 10, asking where my driver was...he was 3 miles away. Where was my call from the manager, or the notice I requested and where was my refund?? The containers arrived and the driver was helpful and courteous. However, the office had no answers for me about my disappointment or my refund after 2 calls later in the week. By the third call about my refund, I was told they only process refunds on Mondays, how interesting that they will take payments for product 7 days a week, but will only satisfy customers once per week?"
