"I am visiting SLC again having lived here before and was pretty disappointed. The “half” size sandwich was maybe 4 inches long for $9. The ordering process is silly, you kind of stand around in front of the counter I guess without much in the way of directions. Wait is too long for mediocre grub. Oh well, hopefully they can improve - used to like this spot. Edit: What an awful response from the shop … no voucher, no attempt to make thing right. I certainly won’t be back now."

"Stale, tough bread every single time. I’m confused as to why and how people can chew through that stale tough bread that Caputos uses for a sub and wanna come back for more. Ruins it every time. The cuts are good, why not use some decent crusty and soft rolls? Subway and Jersey Mike’s has better bread. These rolls are leather!"

"Il posto migliore per cibo italiano (e l’unico haha). I always love coming to Caputo’s because it’s the only place I can find semi-authentic Italian food. I always come here when I’m running errands in the area (or the other location which has a bigger selection). The chocolate selection is great too!"

"Caputos has been my favorite sandwich establishment for the past few years but the past few times coming to this location, I have been leaving dissatisfied. Today when I opened my sandwich I noticed it looked like somebody completely crushed the bread while cutting it or it was baked incorrectly. I took my first bite and because the bread was so dense and there was so much added sauce, the meat and cheese slipped right out. It seems like there is no quality control or the employees do not care. This is probably due to the fact that I always see new employees and the fact that mr Caputo is no longer around to oversee operations (rip). I really hope this location can improve its quality because it is the closest to my house and I greatly enjoy the atmosphere. I don’t want to see this business going downhill and I will continue to support it but I hope for this review to be taken into consideration so these things can improve."

"Excellent lunch experience today. The mufalata was super tasty. The service was great. Expect a wait as they are popular and busy. The patio seating is limited but an awesome setting for lunch. The location is great. I definitely recommend."
