"Ellie Mental Health is a true gift. We have bounced between various mental health practices for 8 years with our daughter and while we have had good care everywhere we have gone, there has been a true financial sacrifice that has informed decisions about frequency of appointments and continuance of care. It feels like a gift to be able to confidently make care decisions based on needs and outcomes, rather than the financial toll that mental healthcare often exacts. We first saw Stephanie Parsons at The OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center and found her to be a wise, compassionate, and gifted therapist. Care there was great, but restrictive in terms of what we could and could not treat (OCD only, even when the issues seemed to bleed into other areas). When we saw that she was taking patients at Ellie Mental Health, we couldn't get in to see her fast enough. She is amazing. It just feels like home. The office is warm and beautiful, and after leaving our last session and realizing our co-pay was less than a sick-visit to the pediatrician I felt like I was somehow cheating the universe. The care that Aaron and Heather have put into building this practice shows. It is clear it has grown out of their own understanding of how difficult it can be to find good care for our kids' (and our own!) mental health needs. They have both been so helpful navigating insurance, triple checking on coverage, and working with them to negotiate rates. The app they use for intake, payment and all of it is easy to navigate and convenient. It has truly been a seamless transition and one that felt more like a coming home than a move to someplace new. I couldn't recommend Ellie Mental Health highly enough!"
