"I have had a very good experience throughout my assessment, though it did need assistance (2nd opinion) from a more experienced senior in assessment diagnoses. I since have received great care from my Psychiatrist Dr. Newman. I also was doing alright with working with Brody Olsen while I had been seeing him."
"I found this company through my insurance provider and I can't be any more satisfied. Setting up my initial appointment was simple. I've had multiple visits to the SLC location and it's been a pleasant experience every time. The receptionist(s) were always welcoming. The wait time was never long. My provider is Teresa Goodner and she's an absolute saint!. Teresa has gone above and beyond any other provider I've worked with in the past. Thank you so much!"
"After working in medical billing for six years I’ve never heard that negotiations and payment plans are considered insurance fraud whether or not the deductible applies, yet here we are. I’m not even upset about the lack of negotiations because not everyone is willing to do that, I’m frustrated that my payment was refused because it’s not the full $1,000+ for my hour-long session. I even offered to set up an automatic payment plan and Sandy quite literally LAUGHED at me. Sandy was extremely condescending, cutting me off and speaking to me like I’m a baby when I didn’t ask for an explanation of services, I asked for timestamps. When I asked to speak to a supervisor who might be able to assist, I was told by Sandy that she worked from home. Good for you, girl, but that doesn’t have anything to do with me speaking to someone who knows how to actively listen to and deescalate patients with mental illnesses. She then transferred me to a PIN-protected voicemail without providing the PIN. It should not take three days and two methods of communication to work out a bill. My doctor knows about this and has informed me that he won’t be sending any more referrals here. I think more doctors should follow suit. At this point I will be paying in full and I’ve already encouraged one friend to cancel his appointment here to save hundreds of dollars. Hopefully others shop for a better provider after reading this."
"As the reviews clearly show this place sucks. Me and my wife both had ADHD testing done here and the process was so unorganized. In too of that it took more the. 30 calls and almost a year to get results and no real apology. On top of that we got a bill a year later and they said we must have just forgot to submit it. Terrible experience. Take your business anywhere else and you’ll be better for it. Update: Got in touch with the client advocacy department. Results were: Hello Blake, I wanted to let you know we spoke with the provider in question about your treatment to prevent this from happening again. As I am sympathetic, providing any sort of payment back to you that results in your out of pocket being less than mandated by your insurance company, violates the False Claims act. We unfortunately cannot honor your request. We hope your journey in fulfilling your needs is successful and we wish you all the best. They are sympathetic - very not helpful and just another excuse. If they provided good service they wouldn’t have so many bad reviews I shouldn’t have given them a chance, neither should you."
"I spoke with a therapist that was apart of this company approximately a year ago to see if we would be a good fit for my mental health journey. If I remember correctly, it was due to insurance that we parted ways and I was never officially seen. This year, unbeknownst to me, someone in their office scheduled an appointment for me. I called to get information as to why this was scheduled without my consent and to cancel, as I had already established a care plan with a therapist not within this organization. No one could give me clear answers as to why it was scheduled. They confirmed they had canceled the appointment. However, I continued to get reminder calls and texts about an appointment. I called in about 5 or six times to cancel and was assured the last time I called that there was no appointment. I was also told that a note would be placed on my chart so no future appointments would be made. Today I received a bill for $385. I called and explained everything above. I was told that I had had an appointment this year in 2023, but that a note would be placed on my chart and given to a supervisor. However, the supervisor is “very busy so they will get to it before the end of November.” I cannot fathom how a business can be so incredibly obtuse about their patients, and I’m not even their patient! I would strongly encourage anyone considering being seen by a therapist within this organization to reconsider. I have legit wondered if this business is a scam, because no one can possibly be this mismanaged on purpose. Zero stars, would not recommend."
