"The staff is awesome and have made a big difference in my grandsons life since his mother passed away! Wanted to give an extra shout out to Lars and all he does for the kids in Respite"
"I've been seeing Jenny (and Amy, but mostly Jenny) for nearly 10 years as well as my family. She's amazing at her job, very good at being consistent with meetings, reliable, supportive, and caring. Couldn't ask for a better therapist!"
"I would not recommend Hopeful beginnings. Especially for children. In my opinion i would also advise that you use caution when allowing your children to go to respite as respite is provided by individuals that are not licensed therapist or LCSWS they are also not trained in areas such as Conflict resolution, Crisis management or child with mental disabilities in general. They have an extremely hard time keeping staff which creates an excessive case load on the therapist that are there. Which in turn greatly impacts the quality of care that is received. It is hard to get a hold of anyone in charge if there is a problem. After Greg Nichols died (the founder) they have done a great job of running his dream of helping others with mental disabilities into the ground. UPDATE: So my Review really mad Amy angry. Instead of contacting me directly to find out what the issue is (since my phone calls arent returned) she tells my childs therapist to tell me either I can and apologize and have a zoom meeting and remove the review or we can find therapy services elsewhere. I am not going to apologize for my OPINION. If they were so worried about why i felt this way for my opinion they would have contacted me. I did agree to a meeting but was told today that they no longer wanted to meet. My advice steer clear of hopeful beginnings. There are some great therapist like Ian but the management is not worth the hassle. Update: Was called and told if review not removed they would be contacting their "lawyer""
"The service that my child most enjoyed was the Respite service. Once a week he looked forwarded to a fun activity outside of our home with a group of peers. He really enjoyed the group facilitator Jared and his peers in the group. If there were any issues with It was handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Jared was positive male role model in my child's life, communication was always awesome and open and I know that my child was able to learn new life skills and break barriers with the suffering of social anxiety having the opportunity to apart of the respite group. Thank you Jared for everything! I highly recommend the Respite services for kiddos and its not just a break for them but parents to. :)"
"I'm very thankful for Hopeful Beginnings because in my opinion they've been a real heaven-sent. Really been an experience and a positive one. They've provided me the support I would not get at another agency. The staff has been very encouraging and professional. I'm especially impressed with the various therapeutic techniques the staff use such as, the case management services, the home-based program which focuses on setting goals which have connected me to other community resources. Before, I went to Valley Behavior Health and there the staff were not very helpful. Since I've started with Hopeful Beginnings, I'm on the road to recovery and the quality of my life has improved substantially and I'm realizing my full potential. This provider definitely lives up to its name and gives a whole new meaning to hope. So when I count my blessings I count Hopeful Beginnings twice."
