"I would give zero stars if I could. I suffer from multiple medical conditions of which EBMS will not cover and refuses to offer any solutions. They look for any reason to deny a claim, take more than the maximum deductible and out of pocket, and will not escalate anything to a supervisor. If you or anyone in your family suffer from a disease that needs medication or medical attention regularly, steer clear of EBMS. They are the most careless insurance company I’ve ever dealt with, and I’ve dealt with some doozies."

"This is the absolute worst insurance I have ever dealt with. They deny everything and they also lie when you call to see if things are covered telling you that they aren’t but when you look at your benefits turns out they are. They keep trying to tell me if I go to my practitioners I will have e to pay my deductible, I don’t have a deductible. They apply multiple copays for doctors visits done the same day same time. A completely disgraceful company."

"I had to go to the ER a while ago and in my EOB I was supposed to have 100% coverage with a $250 copay which I paid. When EBMS received the bill, they paid hundreds of dollars less than the outstanding balance under the guise of "fair market value of the services rendered". They then proceeded to let me get balanced billed and do nothing while the hospital threatened to send me to collections. They contract through ELAP services to "help" with the legal side of things. They basically told me they can't do anything until I get sent to collections completely ignoring my concerns about credit reporting and the risk to my financial future. There was no fine print or asterisk by the ER services entry on my EOB about the "fair value" nonsense they are espousing. They hung me out to dry and didn't provide the services and coverage that I pay them for every paycheck. I hope the C-Suite enjoys few nice dinners on my dime with the money they saved by not paying out my benefits."
