"Since the moment I purchased the vehicle, I felt I was not being fully taken care of. I had been browsing for vehicles myself, being a first time buyer I didn’t know buying it from my desk was the same than going to a dealer (or service location). When I got there I knew what I wanted so I proceeded. Basically they guided me through the online process. It is worth to know I told them explicitly that I had a referral code way in advance, which they ended up not using (claiming that they forgot to add it). Then at delivery I spotted a few defects immediately. I told my advisor about them, took the car quick just to came back without a clear path forward, I left that day without any documentation of the issues, I was just told that they would contact me through text message. I ended up taking the car to service; where ridiculously enough I had to argue with them since it seems like the delivery advisor didn’t do a good job at documenting everything I reported him. Also with one of the defects they did acknowledge, they tried to offer me a $250 service credit, basically not to fix it. At the end they rescheduled me and put me one month back and told me that the repair would take months and is out of their hands (not sure if to prevent me from proceeding). Their processes are obscure, unclear. I’m extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. I’m adding just a few pictures, not all of them as the paint defects pictures are not great."

"It has already been 3 weeks! Tesla has completely ignored the issues that they caused on my property. Before you read the message below, it is important to notify you that a Tesla employee ran my car into a fixed or moving object during service, which dropped my tesla insurance safety score. They DAMAGED the tires and one of the wheels on the left side of the vehicle, impacting the brand new car’s frame. Next, one of the mud-flaps that was broken during the collision has yet to be replaced. Continuing, most of the repairs that Tesla claimed they did were not even addressed. A seal was not replaced and the white bar was not aligned either. Specifically, the paint job that Tesla did on the passenger door and rear left quarter panel make the car look WORSE than when I originally bought it. I want a resolution Tesla! You are a multibillion dollar company. Surely you can do better than this! MESSAGE TO NEW CAR BUYER Tesla is awful and I STRONGLY suggest looking elsewhere for a new car. MESSAGE TO TESLA Tesla: It has been three weeks since Travis responded to me. I want a resolution immediately. The message I sent Travis is below. The pictures are in the other chat. I am tired of waiting. DECEMBER 5, 2023 After inspecting the car, I noticed that the rear left quarter panel had sanding/ buffing burn marks that burned through the clear-coat, exposing the paint to the elements. Next, the bumper has sections that have not been wet sanded, which makes for a rough mesh with the old and new paint, leaving the trunk area susceptible to paint pealing. Thirdly, a three-quarter inch impression (from the initial sanding I presume) in the passenger side door is still present. For such, I will have to get a third-party quote for these items and send Tesla the receipt. Next, I have to get matching replacement rear mudflaps, which will involve installation. Additionally, the sun visor that was under the driver's side seat was missing. I have no idea how that could be missing as it's a cheap $20-$30 piece. Perhaps the cleaning people vacuumed it. I must now repurchase one. As such, I must now go to a 3rd party and get a quote for the parts and labor. Finally, did my car battery die when it was in your possession? I gave verbal permission to keep it charged while it was in your possession. For three days, I never saw the car's signal on my phone, this the concern. I am still thinking about what I am going to do about this whole matter. I had a right to determine how the car was to be repaired due to Tesla's incompetency the first and second times. Next, I had a right to determine what happened to the car after a Tesla employee ran the car into a fixed or moving object. The app even shows a hard stop occurred. That said, I had told three people to speak with me before doing anything and I have recordings of such. I had the right to determine what happened to the car and this right was not honored. Apart from the other issues, just noticed that the black front driver's side door seal is still sagging. I was told it was an easy fix, and that it could be replaced same-day. The car has been in your possession three times now and it still has not been replaced. Also, I just realized that the left and center white bars in the dash were not aligned either. Tesla had three opportunities to address this. Third in line, the black window seal on the rear passenger door was not adjusted backwards like I was told it would be. How did Tesla miss these simple and supposedly easy fixes? Disgruntled Customer Jonathan S."
"This rating applies to the advisor who looked at my complaints and the technicians who work on cars. They use the word it’s "as per spec on everything" or "all our cars have the same issue" as their excuse to NOT do anything . Worst yet they don’t care about your car and give it to you as nasty as I have ever seen. Apparently panel gaps as big as this is normal."
"Had issue with my M3, trunk not closing properly and because of that some of the paint got chipped. I was worried that I had to pay a lot of money getting it repaired. Jonathan from the Tesla service center in Plano went above and beyond to help me. Thanks again to Jonathan and Tesla management. You guys are truly the best!"
