Village Cleaners - Murray 840 East 5600 South, Murray, UT 84107

"I recently took 6 basic clothing items from Shein (3 dresses and 3 shirts) to be dry cleaned and pressed at this establishment. These were very inexpensive, everyday pieces totaling only $60 in cost when purchased new. To my utter disbelief, I was charged an astronomical $102 for the basic wash and press service on these casual garments! This fee is outrageous and borders on being an outright scam. There was no explanation given for why such an exorbitant amount was required for cleaning a few simple items not made of specialty fabrics or requiring unique handling. As a customer, I felt completely taken advantage of with this unreasonable pricing. Unless drastic changes are made to have transparent, fair pricing practices, I cannot recommend this dry cleaner to anyone. $102 for 6 basic items from Shein is highway robbery plain and simple. I will not be returning and urge others to avoid this place until these exploitative overcharging issues are addressed."

"Went in early this morning to hoping big washer machines would be open. Before it got busy. The workers took up all of the big washer machines. Didn’t leave any big washer machines for customers to use. I suggest to go somewhere else if you have big loads and need a big washer machine. Don’t feel this place even deserves one star. They keep their bathrooms locked.!"

"Dropped off a foam mattress cover that had been soiled on by a pet in one small area near the edge of the cover. They were confident they could clean the stain without damaging the cover and said it would be done in a week. A week went by, no cover, then 10 days. We kept calling. They finally said "it's done, come pick it up." It was bundled up in a clear bag, no mention from them of any issues. Get home, and the cover is completely shredded, foam is falling out, the material is ripped. It was brand new, now it's completely unusable and so is the mattress without a cover. Called twice, left two voicemails, they won't return our calls. Eff these people. We're out $200 - 400 for a replacement. If you can't do a job, don't accept it. And if you ruin something in the process, fess up and take responsibility. Terrible customer service."
