"They told me one price I got there and they raised the price. They said it would take a week but after more than a week they hadn't even ordered the part. They then tried to get me to pay more money to get it back faster. They only want cash because they are crooks."
"They fixed a small repair on one camera for no charge when i first came in..which i greatly appreciated (and the reason why I am giving them 4 stars) . But i left a camera for a friend and i was highly embarrased I had recommended them. It took a extremely long time and then it wasn't fixed even after the long wait. They claimed they didnt know it had multiple issues, but as I recall all the info was on the store's paperwork, it was explained verbally by me personally, and was even on very detailed notes I had left with the camera. There is just a serious lack of organization. The price was fair and I may personally use them again due to lack of this type business in the area and fair price...but if I needed my camera/lens fast, I would probably pay the difference and just ship it off."
"My camera was making weird noises and not focusing. I was convinced the motor in the body was going out because that was where I felt the vibration. After some research, I found that there was a shop in town just a couple of miles from my home. Much better than mailing off the body (and as I learned) finding out that the problem was actually in the lens. I was told that they had discovered if I did a certain thing, I could circumvent the issue and that there would be no charge. I took my camera out and used it but the 'fix' didn't work. So, back to the shop my camera went with the true fix to be done. I picked up my camera after the repair and put it through the paces. No noise, no vibration, wonderful focus. It's a delight to be able to use my camera again. Now I don't have to start shopping for a replacement lens."
"Took a camera lenses to them to clean. They disassemble and put it back together without even doing anything or cleaning it. Charge me $125 for nothing."
"I had a fantastic experience with this place! They gave me a free estimate, had the camera fixed in about 3 days, and although there was more wrong with the camera than what they found when they gave the estimate, I was still charged the same price. AND, if that weren't enough to make me a satisfied customer, they also stayed a half hour late so that I could come pick up the camera after work and ask them some questions related to preventing problems in the future. Great place! I can't thank them enough!"
