"Only the second RV park we’ve ever stayed and it was a great experience. Used this location as a launching spot for Bryce Canyon and Zion. The park is only 25 minutes to Bryce and 69 minutes to Zion. The RV park was clean. We didn’t. Realize that they were still wintered so we had to use their freshwater filling station during our stay. The showers and restrooms were clean. The WiFi worked perfectly. Only about 8 Mbps upload and download but fast enough to stream with an occasional lag. The town has very few amenities but all the necessities were available. The people are hospitable. The Mountain Views were great. You won’t be disappointed if you stay."
"Located in the happy village of Panguitch, Utah, Dixie Forest RV Resort is a small well appointed RV Campground. The sites are level and the utilities will situated. Check in was easy and the staff were welcoming. Bryce Canyon Visitor Center is just 25 miles away, so do not miss that."
"I really wanted to give this place 3.5. No water was available at the sites because it was still winter..that was not advertised b4,we got there. We were one of two campers there and they put us in a space where when we opened our door we looked straight at the caretakers big opened (no curtains) house. I did not like that feeling of being watched. Then when another camper came they put them right next to us. Mind you there were over 40 spots available. Why park them so close together? The office was not opened at 9am. We left before it opened so we don't know when they opened. They did provide us with propane after hours. The bathrooms were clean but it took forever to get warm water. It was easy to find and overall very neat and tidy."
"My family and I stayed here 2 nights starting 12/7/23 and absolutely loved it. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. Dixie Forest RV is one of the only resorts, if not the only resort in the area that's open during the winter months. It was 8 degrees fahrenheit over night, but their showers were still open, operating, warm, and very clean. They have to shut off running water to the campsites during hard freezes to prevent burst pipes, but they offered us use of a heated hose to keep our RV's fresh water tank topped off whenever we needed it. We're definitely staying here again."
"This place is a gem! Very nicely maintained, the bathrooms and laundry room were very clean. Grounds were neat, campsites were level. Trees throughout the park provided shade for some sites. Fire rings were provided as well as picnic tables that were in good shape. They had a small enclosed dog park and treats for Fido at the front desk, and we also saw a horseshoe game area, though we didn't play. They also had several very nice cabins, though we didn't stay in them so I can't speak to their interior. Staff was very accommodating, allowing us to overstay the checkout time to resolve some generator issues. And the price for our midweek stay was outstanding. We would definitely return to this park."
