"Overall, we are pleased with the look and function of our kitchen remodel. However, not as pleased with the experience with Fashion Cabinet. There were some hiccups along the way, which seemed to point the blame to us at times by FC. There were some adjustments, and we were willing to pay for, including making a design change on two items after install was complete (poor function/design; something you would think would be caught by the designer). There was one specific detail that needed to be met from the very beginning of our project as it was very important to us. Even though we had reviewed it many times, including the day of install, certain cabinets were still not set properly and we will need to live with that going forward. We followed up with asking about getting a bid on additional cabinets for another room as we wanted the specific cabinet design to match. The bid came back not including pulls. When asked about adding pulls, there would be an additional cost. When asked why the additional cost, as the kitchen remodel included the pulls, we were told they decided to not provide an allowance for pulls on this additional job. No explanation as to why. Possibly a little bitter for some reason, holding it against us, from the kitchen remodel. We decided to get our cabinets for the additional job through another cabinet supplier/builder. One last item, we asked for 4 additional shelves for a couple cabinets after the install was complete. We were told it would be an additional $100+ charge. After spending tens of thousands on these cabinets and they wanted to charge extra for 4 shelves to make their cabinets more functional. What happened to "that is why I am here, to make you happy" or "we want to make sure you are happy by the end of the project" type sales pitch? What we thought would be a great experience, turned out to be a little more sour in the end. Don't get me wrong, we love our remodel. However, mostly due to all the other work that was put into it by other craftsman and just knowing what the kitchen was like before the remodel. Good luck if you go with FC. Low rating more from the experience rather than quality of product delivered."
