K&Q Nail Bar

"I called today to schedule an appointment at K&Q Nail Bar, and I mentioned that I am new to the area from California. I explained that I am trying to find a good shop since I just moved here. I then scheduled an appointment at 4:45 PM for today, and I was informed that the shop would do their best, and if I am unhappy I could try somewhere else. A few moments later, I received a phone call, and the lady stated, we are canceling your appointment because we might not be good enough for you..CLICK....DIAL TONE! I am a male in a female dominated industry. I like clean nails and cuticles too. In my experience and at certain shops, I receive a manicure from a person that may/may not be a licensed nail technician, and sometomes treated poorly. This is is the reason I asked in advance for someone who could do a great job. Am I wrong for asking for a great job? In response to this shop's attitude towards me, A big fat 0 STARS for K&Q"

"Very limited appointments. I showed them a picture what I wanted at the beginning, they got half way through and said they didn’t have time to finish them. I had a gift card and they took the gift card and charged me the full amount. Not happy at all"

"I have gone to this salon for many years - mostly because they were convenient and because they would allow me to schedule with my sisters, not because they really do an exceptional job. The job they do is mediocre. Sometimes they trim too short when we ask them not to trim at all. Today I called and they immediately asked for a deposit saying that I didn't show up last time I made an appointment. Uhh what? I've never missed an appointment that I made. My guess is that we showed up for our appointment and they didn't know which group we were. Or we made a change to our appointment and they didn't fix it? I've never had anyone ask me what my name or phone number is when we go there. How would they really know? I'm not okay being accused of something that I didn't do and so we will not be returning to this salon."

"DO NOT COME HERE. I have never in my life gotten a in grown toe nail and had to get it surgically removed from my toe after getting a pedicure at this place. The old man that works here is so incredibly rude and the pedicure he gave me was painful and aggressive. Plenty of other reviews saying the same thing. I don’t think they sterilize their equipment either. I never leave reviews but I’m so angry after having to go to the doctor and pay $300 dollars and have a nail cut out of my flesh. GO ANYWHERE ELSE."

"I've been to two other nail salons in the area and this place blows them out of the water! Very clean and modern inside and the service was friendly and fast. I showed the girl a picture of what I wanted and she gave me it exactly. I was super impressed and won't go to any other nail salon from here on out."
