"I was initially happy with how my hair looked at the studio. In spite of the fact that it looked nothing like what I asked for and took a long time and the shampoo service I usually look forward to with a high-end service was the worst I’ve ever had - I considered returning. But when I got home I had several problems- breakage caused by using too heavy a lightener on fine hair and obvious demarcation lines all around the root - which is why I wanted balayage in the first place. So I now have all over blonde hair that is severely damaged. Not happy"

"I’ve been going to Yais for nearly 6 years now and just had my hair done by her junior stylist Mia. I’m elated to say that she was absolutely fantastic! She took her time and carefully planned how she wanted each section of my hair to look. She also consulted fellow stylists throughout the process which was super appreciated. Mia is sweet and gentle, and gave me a killer foiliage (I had some residual box dye and she was able to work with it seamlessly!) "If I could give The Balayage Studio more than 5 stars, I would! Yais is an expert at what she does. She tailors each dimensional balayage to the client, artfully choosing colors and cuts that bring out the best in every individual client. I've never felt better about my hair. Not only are the services superb, but the stylists are such lovely people and the studio itself is extremely charming. Plus, after a complementary coffee from the local coffee shop next door, you're greeted by the cutest little dog. The Balayage Studio is a true gem; I always leave feeling like the best, most confident version of myself. I now live in NYC, but refuse to find another stylist and will keep coming back to the Balayage Studio in SLC!"
