About the Business
Welcome to Primary Ballet Academy, located at 150 North Main Street in Heber City, Utah. Directed by Erin Malan, who holds a MFA in Ballet Teaching & Choreography, our academy offers a nurturing and supportive environment for dancers of all ages and levels.
With over 20 years of experience as a dance educator, Erin has taught ballet at prestigious institutions such as The Joffrey Academy of Dance in Chicago, Emory University, and Brigham Young University. At Primary Ballet Academy, we strive to instill confidence, discipline, perseverance, grace, poise, and self-expression in every student who walks through our doors.
Our focus is on teaching excellent ballet technique through a structured syllabus that builds a strong foundation for each dancer. We believe in providing opportunities for our students to perform and showcase their skills to their families, friends, and the community.

"We LOVE primary ballet. This is a ballet exclusive studio. The owner/instructor's resume is mind blowing and she is FANTASTIC with young kids as well as teens. My daughter (5) has attended another local dance studio and, while fun, I didn't think she was ever learning anything and I thought the class sizes were too large for the age. Here, the class sizes are smaller and the instruction is WAY better. The space is beautiful and well kept. This is the kind of studio I would expect in a bigger city. We're so lucky to have one like this in our small valley!"
