"Do not buy from here! I bought a $500 bracelet for Christmas. As soon as my bf tried it on it broke. I called them back to ask for refund, exchange, or free repair and accused me of breaking the jewelry myself. This place is a total joke and did not want to help me. Total waste if $"
"This place is also called gold island. But I bought a chain on Tuesday 5/4, and it broke on 5/7. I took it back and asked to get my money back ( who is going to trust it after it breaks after 3 days)? The manager refused. There are signs saying no refund, but at purchase the sales person was standing in front of it. I’m not meaning to imply it was intentional, he was in front of it. I told him I was concerned that my pendant might not fit on the necklace and he said I could bring it back. The manager called me a liar. After words, he called the mall security on me. The quality of the jewelry is sub standard. If it had cost $10 and broke it would be one thing. But $170 is a whole different story. I received a receipt also after the sale that I shoved in my purse because it was closing time. It said no refund also and that it costs $40 for any repairs. Repair shop they use says their jewelry breaks all the time, not uncommon for them to break 3-4 times. So don’t go to the kiosk and spend your hard earned money. Go to a reliable jewelry store."
"SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! First of all to get around google reviews they hid under this name but they also go by Gold Island. Stay away from this place at all costs and warn everyone not to make purchases at this business. The owner is shady. He stands in front of the sign that he offers no refunds, then makes sure the purchase is complete before letting you know he does not back his product and that he refuses to give a refund. The person selling at the Kiosk will also tell you that the gold necklaces are 10 carats, but in fact they are not. You are lucky enough to call it gold plated. It is really cheap metal being disguised as real quality and marked up so high that you feel you are getting something of real value. When the time comes and the piece of jewelry breaks and you take it back to the kiosk the sales person will move away from the sign that states no refunds and point to it. They will then refuse to keep talking to you. If you continue to press the matter he will simply call mall security to have you escorted from his business. He will then have a smug smile on his face because he knows he conned you and there is nothing you can do about it. Lesson learned, don't buy jewelry from this place and hope the business will go out quickly. I am also surprised the mall allows this place to stay open, as it seems like everyone has this same experience with them. Posting photos of the broken necklace. #GOLDISLANDPENNSQUAREMALL #SCAM #RIPOFF #BADCUSTOMERSERVICE"
"Horrible. They sold me a 3 gram 10k chain and pendant for $250. Claiming it weighed over 5 grams. The whole chain is worth $75 lol. Would not ever go back here again. If I was you, I wouldn’t either. They are scammers."
"Woman was nice, but the man sold me a chain+pendent for 70$ the told me it was 70$ to get a new rope for the chain. There prices are very high for the things they sell. I would never reccomend if your on a budget or want a good deal. The last time I went tho I went to purchase a small silver Cuban chain and the man gave me a $150 base price and slashed it to $110 when I said I wouldnt be able to afford it that day, which shows that they up sell there jewelry by a large margin. Overall it is a nice place to purchase jewelry from if your passing by. But not a place you wanna go to just to purchase jewelry from."
