"Absolutely beautiful location inside the park. You can literally step outside and hop on the shuttle bus to be the first person. After a tiring day of hiking, you can just walk back to your room and rest before heading back out. We enjoyed the porch to sit and view the beautiful mountains and listen to the chirping birds. Loved every minute here! The restaurant is there to order food and that was very convenient!"
"Room was old and small but clean. Bathroom vent heat didn't work. It blew cold air I stead. We pre checked in at 930am and was told to check back at 2p. We came back from a hike and ate lunch. At 2p it wasn't ready. We ended up went on our hike again and didn't come back until close to 5pm. The hotel is sold out. We were told we had a good view but we didn't."
"Great place in the middle of the park. 2 restaurants and a beer garden on site. Very busy place as it's the middle of tram routes but a perfect place to rest and wait for rest of your group to finish hike if need be. Very crowded when trying to take trams back to the visitors center, be prepared to wait as trams coming down are usually full already."
"You can’t beat the location of Zion Lodge! It’s right at bus stop #5 and only a 0.5 mile walk to stop #6 (the trail that goes up to Angel’s Landing). Beautiful views in every direction and plenty of free parking. Rooms were dated, but comfortable. Liked having the sink separate from the toilet/shower, especially with a family of 4. If we go back, I would definitely stay here again, if for no other reason than to avoid the crazy shuttle lines at the visitors center. We lived the grab and go cafe on site for breakfast and lunch - good options, reasonably priced."
"Although this place may be dated, we're grateful for having the option to stay in the park. This location is great, everyone is super friendly, it's quite clean, and the rooms are really spacious plus they afford a big balcony w/ comfy rocking chairs. Note: we had a suite (which only cost around $60 more. On a side note, the food at their restaurant (Red Rock Grill) is along the lines of what you would receive at a cafeteria. Although we were grateful for it being there, in retrospect we would have drove the couple minutes and gone into town (where there are a plethora of great eats)."
