Doubletap Ammunition

"My order #8245 was delivered on Tuesday August 15th. Upon delivery and opening the box that nestled my 100rds of ammunition in the nicely packed delivery box, I proceed to inspect my ammunition "which everyone should do". Upon inspection I noticed that the bullets themselves which are solid copper hollow points. They were very dark in color and kind of sticky in nature. This caused some concerns for my safety and whether or not it would gum up my firearm and cause issues with feeding or cause issues in the barrel after a few rounds not knowing what this substance is on the bullets themselves. So I reached out to Doubletap and the response I received the first-time was is like a grease or something and they would let someone know in the manufacturing department but got no answer if these rounds were to cause any damage or issues to my firearm or was there a concern for my safety. So I emailed Doubletap a second time and this is what was said. Sorry I'm a novice and should have checked before I said it was a grease but it's actually oil. So ok I'm thinking this "OIL" is sticky and I'm sure this might or could cause a problem in or with my firearm and possibly could be a safety issue as well for me. But again no answer to if these rounds of ammunition are ok to shoot or if they were going to send me new ones and I could send my original order back. NOPE I guess they could care less. The customer service is not great at least not right now. They haven't tried to make anything right. I'm not sure I even want to attend to fire these rounds in my firearm. Like I said the substance is dark in color and will not rub off and is very tacky and sticky like a sap. I don't know I'm not super impressed with doubletap ammunition at this point. I just want things made right that's it."
