"My wife and I came here for the lantern festival. This location is geared towards summer events so there really wasn't much to it. At this point. There was plenty of parking and it was open enough for the event to happen. However, I don't feel this was a good location for the event"
"I have not been out there to have any fun. I was doing work across the street and seen it. It looks like a great place to have a gathering. Maybe a concert company party looks like there's plenty to do swimming, hi, jumping, there's even water slides that shoot you into the air. I can see they've got a motocross track and what looks like the start of a skateboarding park. At ten dollars a day hell of a deal to get away from the heat and do a little camping and exploring."
"Checked this unique place out for the first time on the 4th of July. It was pretty crowded, but not so crazy that you can't get around. There is plenty of parking available. The man-made oasis isn't huge, but it was big enough for everyone to enjoy without being on top of each other. The "landslide" was open for this event. The line had about 30 people and took 15 minutes or so. It was fun, and worth the wait to try it at least once. I didn't try the short zip line that drops you into another pool, but the kids were enjoying it. There was also a simple diving tower, a small easy rope swing, and a water bouncer. There are juniper trees in the area but only a few close to the lake, but that's all the shade there is, so if those spots are taken, you're mostly in the sun. Bring a canopy or umbrella if you want shade. Also bring chairs if you want somewhere to sit besides the ground. The "sand" is a mix of dirt and sand, but it wasn't uncomfortable. The water was nice. The kids love it. They had music at this event and occasional shout-outs to promote the annual landslide festival they have in the Fall. It was enjoyable and made me consider attending the landslide festival."
"Spent the weekend here for a WORCS Race. Kids had a blast. It's clean, well organized. There's a rope swing, diving platform, and for the really brave a launcher of a water slide. You can even paddle board or kayak. This is a great site for any type of event - festival, concert. Wonder if they would rent it out for private parties?"
