"As someone who hates going to the dentist and has a lot of anxiety with the whole experience, I can’t recommend this place enough. Everyone does a really great job explaining every step of what’s happening and puts you at ease. With insurance the cleaning, exam, and X-rays were completely covered and additional procedures were not prohibitively expensive. The multiple attempts to upsell me adult braces felt unnecessary, but it’s a business and they weren’t too pushy once the sales pitch was over. Would go again."

"Whenever I get my teeth cleaned here, the experience is overwhelmingly positive; the staff are very friendly and the hygienist is wonderful. However, I've had enough negative experiences that I've lost my trust in Platinum Dental. First, I got the same gum procedure twice, only to have my gums revert to how they were before the first surgery. Then, when I got my wisdom teeth removed, they mixed up my insurance information and I was misquoted; I ended up owing an extra ~$1000 before the surgery. Then, I received very little post-op care (no follow-up appointments, and I was given pretty minimal information for my recovery). The straw that broke the camel's back happened after the procedure. Overall prices for the surgery had increased by another ~$600, and I wasn't even notified until after the procedure was done. Between that and the initial misquote, I ended up owing an extra ~$1600 total, which is a lot on a grad student's budget. In isolation, I'd have chalked each of these mishaps up to random error, especially given how positive my other experiences were. But put all together, and I need to start over somewhere I can build trust."

"I love Platinum Dental in Sugarhouse! The staff always remembers me. I get in on time, the dentists are always friendly and considerate and they are upfront on prices and helpful explaining procedures. They offer financing options when needed and will be honest with you about what you need. No pressure. All the staff there are so nice and considerate. I've never had a bad experience with them ever."

"It was awesome. Dr Rat was very knowledgeable and have a good bedside manner. At the front desk staffs are very professional and kind. And Elina was awesome as well , She was trying to make me as comfortable as I could and put me on easy. And office manager also very professional and gave me fair price of my teeth bridge and when I ask her, If there's any expectation to develop any extra costs? And she answered she will be willing to fight with my insurance company until make good deals. Over all I had very good experience. I will definitely come back."
