"Front desk agent ABDUL & MOHAMMAD have the worst guest service ever! Horrible service. A hotel is a place where to be as a second home during a trip!!! Never have I had an experience over the phone with a person like ABDUL. I'm asking about things of what to do around as a first-timer. And he has the audacity to tell me that "HE HAS THINGS TO DO," & I'm confused. And he HUNG UP. I called back, and Abdul said happily that I could complain. Wow!! The WORST. Also, how do you not know what to do around there if you're a front desk agent. HOTEL FD AGENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO ALWAYS PROVIDE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARE TO GUESTS COMING FROM A PERSON THAT HAS BEEN IN HOSPITALITY. MOHAMMAD & ABDUL- WHY ARE YOU WORKING THERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO TREAT GUESTS WITH RESPECT???!! GENERAL MANAGER MIKE NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS ASAP! UPDATE 3/28- THIS IS NOT A FAKE REVIEW. ALSO LEFT A YELP REVIEW WITH MY INFO."
"We recently stayed due to our bathroom being remodeled and the location was perfect due to work but this was not the experience we expected to have my husband uses a chair most of the time due to ALS and so we booked a ADA room and was very disappointed it was dirty, the shower/tub didn't function well the grab bars where loose. Cracked lamp and the list goes on. We have learned that big names don't equal good quality and for the price of this place I expected it to be better."
"Unbelievable. After complaining about checking into a dirty room, and asking for soap since the bottle in the room was empty, I returned from the day to find a still dirty room. I tried to complain to the front desk staff but, Abby, was too busy coloring a post it note on the back of her phone to notice me standing there. Her coworker defended her “busyness” and let me know that due to the staff shortage housekeeping wasn’t able to clean guests rooms despite the request. The following day the housekeeping manager, Paulina, harassed me at breakfast, and ensured that I knew she was the boss of the hotel, using the front desk staff to communicate her issues several times throughout the 4 days she refused to clean the room, provide towels, take the garbage ect... I addressed the Hilton Policy posted in the lobby stating that the room is on them if not up to their standards with the GM, Mike. He seemed utterly confused by the behavior but clearly has no idea what was going on. After I finished talking to him and went back to my room, Paulina went next level with her insanity by her letting herself into my room and waving her phone around at me. I called down to the front desk to let them know she was in my room and I would call the police. The GM was very apologetic at this point but could not provide an explanation, he did not charge for the stay. There are many other awesome hotel options within 5 minutes of this location, I would recommend ANY of them over this place."
"Unfortunately the room we stayed in was absolutely disgusting. The shower was dirty and out of soap. The couch had blood stains on it. The dishes were left dirty in the dishwasher from previous guests. The pack and play was stained and smelled like urine. We ended up switching hotels because the filth was unbearable especially with a baby. Very disappointing."
"I’ve stayed here several times now while having to go to hospital appointments. It’s only a10 minute drive to Huntsman. It’s always clean and everyone is friendly and helpful. It’s in a nice neighborhood. The breakfast options are varied and delicious. I like having the option of bringing my dog if I need to. And even though they allow dogs, the rooms are always clean and I don’t feel disgusted like some other hotels I’ve tried in SLC. The workout room and the pool and hot tub is also nice."
