Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City Downtown

"Great place to stay downtown. Near downtown restaurants and attractions. Safe at night to walk. The downtown area is fairly clean. The hotel has a parking lot in front on the side and also in the back. Also has a twenty four hour pool/ jacuzzi. Has the normal seating area in the lobby with A? Is a pantry area to purchase snacks and items you may have left behind. And a small bar with wine and beer. And a great restaurant for breakfast and dinners. The dinners are very well done and made to order. The breakfast is not free which might be normal at other Hilton properties. The breakfast is fifteen dollars and is all you can eat which includes made to order pancakes and omelets. The service is fantastic, In the restaurant and in the hotel in general. The rooms are extremely clean and you do not have to ask for them to make up the room every morning. In room coffee pot with several coffees and tea plus mini refrigerator. I stayed a week and will be returning in several weeks and will stay here again."

"I just stayed here for my 2nd time on Business and did not disappoint. Service was great, rooms were clean every day. I was training someone and used their lobby reception for many days/hours and the Manager was always so helpful and lobby area so comfortable. Also Lavde aka “Mom”was wonderful in the bar/restaurant in the evenings! Will definitely be back next time I am in SLC!"

"I rarely write reviews but this was terrible and fraudulent service! Find any other of the many hotels to go to instead of this one. I am a loyal Hilton customer and have never experienced something like this before. The hotel manager Marianna Gamboa falsely accused me of smoking inside the room and assessed a fraudulent charge for smoking in the room ($250). She said it happened at 6pm, when I wasn’t even at the hotel then. Terrible customer service and she was very rude and abrasive too when I was explaining that there was no smoking in the room and that we weren’t even in the room when she said she got complaints about the issue. Before having any proof she already made up her mind that she was going to falsely accuse my room and assess a fraudulent. Terrible service, go anywhere else so you never have to run into Marianna, the worst hotel manager I’ve ever come across"

"The room was perfect - clean and comfortable. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful! It's hard to get in and out of here with the 5 lane one way street out front. The breakfast is NOT free and surprised us at $16 per person for nearly the same exact food as we get at the Hampton Inn for free!?!! Made to order omelet and pancakes/French toast are not worth $16."

"One of the most comfortable stays I have had in this hotel chain. The room was very spacious. The bed was super comfortable with lots of pillows. The lady at the front desk shockingly remembered my name from the night before. I was only there for an overnight business trip, but my stay at this hotel was great. I would definitely like to stay again when I have more time to explore the local area."
