Lakeview Apartments At Ardmore

"My family lived there for a short amount of time and wasn't happy at all. We had loud neighbors that smoked and nothing was done about it, front desk lady would only slap papers on doors instead of helping. They over charge you for rent no matter how you try to pay it and apartments always had spiders everywhere. Trash and cat poop on playground. Also we moved out cuz couldn't afford rent and they wanna charge for the short notice, so just wanted to give a warning to anyone who's seeking to lived there. NOT WORTH LIVING THERE."

"We left here about 2 years ago. My roommates left 1-2 years before us. We didn't leave the perfect place to clean up for but we for sure paid our rent, utilities, and maintenance fees. They are trying to charge my old roommates, who lived there at least 2 years prior to us leaving, for 3 months of rent and a $300 cleaning fee. (Which was covered by our safety deposit mind you). We left multiple text messages, attempts at contact at front desk, emails, and even a letter 2-3 months prior to leaving and ending our lease. They are now claiming that we never left and stayed an extra 3 months and totally forgoing the safety deposit which is to be used for repairs and cleaning fees... a whole 2 years later... the state we left it in did not mean that we lose our whole safety deposit ($400), but we said its fine and took a loss. Now I'm wishing I asked for the itemized receipt for the "repairs and cleaning". When I spoke to them they told me it was 230 for repairs and 70 for cleaning. So I didn't think anything of it and figured the $100 was just the full loss. Do not stay here no matter what. ~They do not send bug people to spray for bugs and when they do they don't even knock (trust me i've tested my theory by staying up all night watching the front door while on my phone) ~They do not provided working utilities upon moving in. ~Their posted office hours are not real as we tried multiple days in a row on separate time slots to be at the office to talk to someone and no one was ever there. It is well not worth fees you pay for maintenance, bug cleaning, and rent. And they try to extort money out of you 2 years after you leave. If you do choose to live here, take documentation of EVERYTHING. Protect yourselves and most importantly your wallets!!! Just take a look at the other 1-2 star review on here. Also take note that the bad reviews are the ones that are getting the likes over the good ones. Most of them back up these claims. And most of the owner responses, are copy and pasted responses. Don't waste your time."

"Janette, the property manager, went over and above to help my son get settled in his first apartment. Even when his roommate bailed and we had to change units, Janette was extremely helpful and pleasant! The property is WELL kept, beautiful and has been peaceful each time we visited and I could not feel anymore at ease with my son living away from us the first time!!"

"They will give you lease violations for no reason and they will wrongfully evict you. They cannot keep an office manager, and they were just reported to the city of Ardmore code enforcement, and out of retaliation the new landlord that is currently in the office issued me a 30 day notice to vacate. Her name is Janeth Nunez or something irrelevant. She told me to shut up in the office, when I told her that she doesn’t know how to do her job. She will let people act crazy, call the cops, let shootings occur, and still let those same people reside here. I would keep on looking elsewhere! What’s not failed to mention that these apartments are roach invested."

"I moved into these apartments last weekend. My apartment was exactly what I wanted. New flooring new freshly painted apartments ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. Management made the application process very easy for me and answered all of my questions even helped me find local moving services gave me recommendations for activities for me and my family. I got too look at the pool even though it’s not open yet but my family is excited to be able to swim this summer. The playground is well kept for my children to play. And we even got to bring our fur babies with us. Over all it has been quite here there was a disturbance my first weekend here but I saw the manager quickly get the situation resolved and everything back to normal. It’s nice to have someone who cares about having a family safe environment just as much as keeping my children in one. I saw some reviews for pest issues I have yet to see one. But I also know that it has a lot to do with when people move and bring them with them. I have let been here long and have already had pest control treatment done. I do have one small complaint when I moved in my patio storage did not lock and I had to wait till the next day to get it corrected and the guy who fixed it was very nice quick and efficient and even gave my dog a treat that just goes to show. This place cares about me and if something needs to be fixed they will come take care of it."
