"I have been in these apartments since 2021 and I couldn’t imagine a more convenient place to live! The staff makes sure that the lawn is kept up, the maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner, and they ALWAYS have smiles on their faces when I walk into the office! Oh, and how can I forget about the community area with complimentary coffee and family board games?! If you are looking for a quiet apartment complex in Lawton, I would 10/10 recommend the Flats at MacArthur EVERY TIME!"

"For an apartment complex owned by a parent company I’m pretty disappointed in my experience while living here for the last seven months. As the group continues to raise rent while tying in completely unnecessary “amenities” (trash collection at your door that may or may not get picked up for example or getting rid of their native payment portal for a commercial third party site that charges you $35 a month to conveniently pay your rent) it’s really difficult to see the $1100-1200 ish rate put to use. Paper thin floors, ceilings, and window panes ensure you will hear every sound from above, below, and outside your apartment and from your lovely neighbors. The units are not maintained or renovated which was evident from being given a unit with torn apart or outdated floors, walls, appliances and exteriors. There will without fail be trash and dog poop in your yard or parking lot since few of the dog owning tenants are responsible enough to pick up after their pets. The covered parking spaces are also an additional $50/month if that’s something you were interested in. The pictures on the site are a far cry from the unit I’ve been given not to mention how incredibly small the units are compared to similarly priced apartment complexes across town. Every moment I spend here I’m continually reminded I made a mistake with choosing this complex to live at especially considering you can rent your own house in a safe neighborhood for equal rent here in Lawton. Bottom line is don’t throw away your hard earned rent budget/BAH to live in this over priced college tier apartment complex that markets itself as something it isn’t. If some of these issues are entirely specific to my personal unit then I’m disappointed the management allowed me to move in because apparently this apartment meets their standards of how they maintain their apartments from tenant to tenant. I came here from over seas so I was not afforded the opportunity to see my unit prior to moving in."

"I moved here shortly after my husband joined the military and I lived here for 4 years. At first I absolutely loved this place and recommended it to everyone I knew, then it was bought out my valiant or whatever the name is now. After that the quality of this apartment complex went down BIG TIME!!! Noone is ever in the office, only about 2 competent office staff members (1 of which has quit) and the managers act like you're a total burden to their day and the amenities are rarely maintained now. Before moving out I hired professional cleaners to deep clean the apartment and make sure I got my deposit back (surprisingly I did) but they still charged me the cleaning fee after move out and ive been trying to get my money back since JULY (it is now November), I keep getting the same “we will get back to you” with weeks of no response until I call them and they essentially ignore me and give me the same work around. I'm going on month 4 of my money still being with them and week 3 of no response to my calls or emails. I won't lie and say I didn't enjoy my stay at a point in time but I definitely would not recommend this complex to anyone today due to the major decrease in quality over the years. There's actual a pretty good apartment complex directly across the street that I did a walk through for and have heard many good things from family friends who live there. I recommend that place if you like your money to not be fraudently charged with months of no resolution or response!!! Oh and one last note they required a clean of the carpets and kitchen floor and AFTER I spent almost $300 doing so they said oh you didn't need to do that at all because we are ripping them up so wasted money all around for this place. 4 years and thousands of dollars later it is a ONE star of I could leave less I would lol:)"

"If I could do it again I would not live here. There are other places in town that are cheaper with very similar floor plans, space, and aesthetics. In my opinion, the cost to amenity ratio is off and I’m glad I will only be here temporarily. Given the opportunity to re-do my move, I’d live on-base or find a standalone home for rent. You would have more space and more freedom to do what you’d like to your living environment. All those benefits would come at a negligible cost of living increase. It’s a habitable space, but it’s not worth what you’ll pay every month."
