"Absolutely disgusting, first night I was there, their were roaches all over the bathroom, a crack pipe in my trash can, and mouse invested. The front desk was very rude about everything, didn’t do anything to make my stay comfortable I checked out the same day. Don’t ever stay here, Alva’s local crack heads will rent the rooms here. You’ll never get any sleep. Beware!!!"

"Shower curtain wasn't long enough, so bathroom flooded in 10 seconds. No mirror in bathroom, so shaving was tough. Toilet didn't flush properly. Had to use your shoulder to open and close front door."

"We'll I was renting a decent room until one we had to move to a different room witch should be no problem right. Rong the room they moved us in has ripped carpet . That wasn't even the worse part my mom is disabled and they still maid is move. You telle what u think"

"I would give them zero Stars if I possibly could. First all of our bedding was stained and dirty. Second Our room smell like sewer. Third we had zero hot water in the bathroom sink I have nobody knows why the shut-offs were on to the sink. Fourth we could not stay for the second night so I did not get my money back because of the sewer smell and the bedding was dirty among other things . The manager of the place was very nice. She had zero control over anything she called the owner for everything."

"I've stayed in Alva many times and this property was not available for a time, but now under new management. The managers are very nice and accomodating. The beds were comfy,  but the bedding is dated as you see from the pictures.  The walls are freshly painted and trendy-looking. Housekeeping is a small issue, but only because the managers do everything in property, including all the housekeeping. I believe they're being spread too thin. When we opened some of the drawers at the vanity,  they're was a lot of garbage from a prior guest. Things such as garlic cloves and onion skins. I decided to clean it out so another guest doesn't have to look at it, plus,  it helps the management.  The chairs in the room also had garbage stuffed down in them.  There were also two black spiders  of unknown species in the bottom corner near the toilet. When I told management,  they came right over and took care of the issue. As for amenities,  this is a no frills motel. Bring your own toiletries and coffee maker if you want coffee. We brought our own coffee maker because I'm not too keen on the cleanliness of motel coffee makers anyway.  They do have a microwave and mini fridge. Overall, we would stay again if it was just an overnight stay.  The price was fair and it's in a convenient location. If they can update the bedding (blankets and pillows) and find someone to help them with housekeeping, this motel has the potential to be a hidden gem."
