"update: actually the clothes i thought were dry are not! so all clothes i just washed are wet still! I just came here last week to wash my laundry and it was open until midnight . I usually come pretty early to get it all done in a reasonable time. I come in today. She said oh just letting you know last load at 10. OK I had enough time. Got all my stuff in the washer. and as everybody knows the washers, take about 25 minutes to wash a full cycle. Drying 25 to 30 minutes, depending on what you’re drying. The lady there proceeds to tell me and everybody in the building that if our stuff is not dry by 1030 we are out the door regardless. So I just spent $60 in that laundromat washed my clothes and only got to dry half of them because I was scared that she was going to kick us out and not allow us to get our things this was my only time today that I could get this done. I work a full-time job. And I just could not believe that it was OK for last load of Washing to be accepted until 10 PM. But then you expect everybody’s stuff to be washed and dried by 1030 and get out. Absolutely ridiculous I pretty much just lost and wasted about 40 bucks tonight! And that is because I washed clothes and half of my clothes I could not even dry because they wouldn’t get done by 10:30. So now I have quite a bit of laundry That didn’t get dried and hopefully they don’t mildew and now I’m gonna have to turn around and spend another $60 just to get them re-washed and dried.! this was Absolutely unprofessional!"

"Always available washers... Never dirty or smelly. Nice neighborhood laundry mat. Our new washer decided to go on strike during our recent move. I just wash our stuff and take it home to dry it so not sure if they dry well or not."

"I started coming here because the washer I bought locally from a store that was used only worked for one load and then it stopped working.. So I looked at laundromats in my area. I tried Community may tag first.. that was a mistake for reasons reviewers have pointed out, avoid may tag. Can't say the same for Maxey Wash, it's night and day. The machines work great for reasonable prices, the change machine, ATM...all of them just work! People washing their clothes were always friendly with me and if I had concerns there is a nice lady who will do what she is able to assist. I have anxiety and Agoraphobia, but when I do my laundry here I don't experience fear at all. Nice place, people are pleasant and employee(s) are always willing to help. I have nothing negative to say about Maxey Wash. I highly recommend it if you don't have a washer and dryer at home."
