"If you have a choice in the matter do NOT use this company. If you do not have a choice make sure you inspect your delivery thoroughly before signing for it. My kayak sat at this terminal for almost two weeks with no one calling me to schedule a delivery. I called the 1800 number and they only offered to send an email to the local terminal. I finally found the local number on a pdf online and called to have my kayak delivered to my home. They said it would be delivered the next day and that did not happen. No call no show. When they did make the delivery it was the driver by himself so I had to help him unload the kayak myself. I unwrapped the handles so we can get it in my house easier to find the built-in handle crushed. I refused delivery and now the kayak company is sending a new kayak with a different shipping company. Please take my advice and avoid this company if possible."
"Overall a very bad experience. The manufacturer contacted Central Freight for an update on my order. Someone told them they had called e and scheduled for the following day. That was a lie, no one contacted me. They called me the next day and scheduled for delivery the following day (Thursday). I called them late Thursday morning to make sure my order had been put onto a truck and was still on track. They assured me it would be delivered by end of day. I called at the end of day and asked about the status. It never got put onto a truck for delivery. Very poor customer service. I won't use them in the future, neither should you."
"If i could give them 1/8 star i would. First the good. The operators on the chat line were polite and as helpful as they could be but could only answer what they were told and the driver that finally delivered my shipment was helpful and courteous. Now the rest. Was contacted that they were 30 minutes out and i needed to be there to accept the shipment. Never showed up, no contact. This started 4 days of keeping someone constantly at the house including taking off of work. Every time i would have to contact them and they would say it was delayed for all kinds of reasons but it would definitely be there tomorrow. Again no show., no call. The worst part was i live 5 miles from their warehouse and i wasn't allowed to come pick it up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!"
"Brand new kayak straight from the manufacturer and it gets crushed. The boss there at Central Freight told me to take the kayak and take it up with FeelFree Kayaks. Didn’t even tell me refusing the shipment was an option. I called FeelFree and they told me to refuse the shipment and are sending a new one through a different freight company. The boss at Central Freight blamed FeelFree for shipping me a broken kayak. It is clear Central Freight has no regard for your property and then tries to pass the buck when your stuff gets damaged. Not to mention the kayak sat on their dock for 2 days without them even trying to contact me for delivery. I ended up calling myself and going to try and pick it up at Central Freight."
"Had an engine I ordered from a vendor on 11/1/2018 shipped on 11/16/2018 with Central Freight. It was picked up from vendor on the 16th and arrived in Tulsa Ok. on 11/20/18 and did not get delivered to our business till 11/28/18 and it was laid on its side and the crate was destroyed, oil pan was caved in, turbo is going to have to be replaced. I have emailed back and forth with Central Freight and they want to blame it on the shipper. The driver said the crate was in a trailer on there lot and was found in this condition. Driver insisted it be pulled off his truck because he had no way to move it with his pallet jack. We pulled it back with a chain and got it to where we could get a better look and driver insisted he had no clue it was in this bad of shape. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. $5750.00 later and I have to go find another engine due to PURE IGNORANCE and lack of care for a customers products. It makes me mad that as a business owner to see such piss poor management of a company and there drivers. If I did customers this way I would be out of business."
