"After a great disappointment at another, unnamed, nationwide clip shop (who left the back of my head with long curls that I didn't notice until I got home) I went looking for a more local place, making sure to check their Google rating. This place was closest AND one of the most highly-rated in Edmond. I would recommend new customers use Google Maps to check the location before visiting as it has a narrow, easy to miss, store front. (If you know where Weather's TV and Appliance is, Friendly is right next to that.) Despite being fairly small, Friendly Barber Shop manages to have 4 barbers chairs. They also had a constant stream of customers when I visited. It happened that the barber I was going to get when my turn came up gave the previous customer a haircut exactly like I wanted (almost a military high-and-tight) - so I just said "I want what he had!" I ended up with exactly what I wanted. I will definitely make this my go-to place from here on. They ARE definitely friendly (just like the name). ONE SUGGESTION TO CUSTOMERS - DO NOT park in the street in front (even if there is a vacant space). It is much easier to go North and turn right, onto Main Street (heading east, past Weather's TV) and you will find a large (free) parking lot marked City of Edmond Public Parking. That will be easier and safer than parking on Broadway."

"The best barber shop in the OKC metro area. Harley and Gage give the best high and tight with skin on the side that I have found since moving to the OKC metro area. Prices are better than chain barbershops. Plus there are good conversations and it feels like a family in there. You know it's the best when there is 3-4 individuals waiting before they even open.
